are these confirmed? i swore i was on the oasis mailing list and havent seen anything.
Dates confirmed...I updated my post with pre-sale info
cool. i wonder why i didn't get notice of this though? it's always frustrating when you sign up for this on a band's website and get left out of the loop like this. i get an email a week from silverchair about buying shit from their online store or voting for them on tv, but when they toured the us i got no notice of it until the tour started.

i'll be there as well, once i figure out how the hell to get there without a car. can't be worse than the show at the murat in indianapolis a few years back though. i drove hours to get there and then missed the opening band (the redwalls, whom i love) because my gf was dumping me right before we went into the venue together. talk about an uncomfortable show with a lame crowd.

All I'm going to say is these are some large arenas...I hope they sell them out #1 and #2 I hope the band doesnt screw up this golden opportunity to reclaim some of their past success in America.

Ah, I have had things like that happen before. Too bad you missed The Redwalls too, they are a great band.

what did you get?
I looked but didnt end up buying. venue sucks and it's too big for Oasis. hopefully they come back and play a theater in Chicago or Milwaukee. best I pulled was Sec. 110, Row J and Sec. 202, Row A.

im section 112, row cc. i couldn't justify paying $80 per ticket. i'm satisfied. initially i was looking at the right hand side (noel's side) one section back on the lower level. i hate being on the floor.
i hope it sells out, or close at least. whoever said the venue is "too big" for oasis is freaking nuts. have they seen the dvd at wembley with 100,000 people? oasis was born for huge venues.

um, yeah, I have seen all of the DVDs, but this isnt London my friend, and the casual fans who only come for the nostalgia of a band they used to listen to in high school ruin the show. last time they played Allstate, everyone around me looked completely confused when they started Turn Up the Sun.
and your first sentence contradicts the second. if you have to hope for a show to sell out, it's too big for the band. i'll consider buying a cheap ticket around the day of the show, but if not, no big deal. the venue really took away from the show last time, IMO.

i saw them at the murat theater in indianapolis, a tiny little venue. the crowd was still shitty.

Do you know if it's just awaiting confirmation and will go on sale with the rest of the shows? Or if it does happen it will be after the fact?

what did you get?
