I'll go if they come to New England. I've only heard the 20 sec. snippet of the new tune, but I liked it.
It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.

There already is 1 :) Washington state...September-October...I read an article with the Warner Bros president when they signed the deal to promote and distribute the next few albums in the US and he said that Warner was going to spare no expense to make sure that Oasis was massive in the US again

Oasis will never be massive here again. However, I think they still have a solid dedicated fanbase and it still seems that everybody at least knows them for Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova.

That might be true but it would be nice if it happened...the music world is seriously lacking these days here in the US

    I'm hoping for a Pittsburgh date! :)

I'd love to see them - one of my favorite bands.

I think they could be big here again, if they're given the air time and spotlight. The record companies just sign and promote the carbon copy, teen pop / rap / rock bands with no talent and thought. Then they complain about how no one buys albums... Ugh I hate this country's musical taste.

This sounds promising...from the Sun but hey...

OASIS will kick off a massive world tour in October, I can reveal.
The lads are due to announce their plans in the next few weeks — and the tour will be their boldest yet.

The band, who had a 1994 hit with Live Forever, will start their dates in the UK this autumn, head off for more gigs, then return more than 12 months later to wrap things up at home.

Wembley and their beloved Manchester City’s home ground will be among the UK venues.

And some lucky fans will be able to see them play at the intimate Roundhouse in London for a filmed BBC special.

The start of the tour will coincide with the release of seventh studio album Dig Out Your Soul, on October 6.

A source revealed: “The tour is bigger than anything the band have done before.

“They will be on the road for more than a year — possibly pushing 18 months.

“The dates could easily run into three figures and will take them around the world.

“It is on the kind of scale you would expect from THE ROLLING STONES. The fellas who have hatched the plan are very proud and excited.”
    Shows:
    9/24/96 MD. 9/28/96 Randalls. 8/28-29/98 Camden. 9/8/98 NJ. 9/18/98 MD. 9/1-2/00 Camden. 9/4/00 MD. 4/28/03 Philly. 7/5-6/03 Camden. 9/30/05 AC.
    10/3/05 Philly. 5/27-28/06 Camden. 6/23/06 Pitt. 6/19-20/08 Camden. 6/24/08 MSG. 8/7/08 EV Newark, NJ. 6/11-12/09 EV Philly, PA. 10/27-28-30-31/09 Philly, PA., 5/15/10 Hartford,5/17/10 Boston, 5/18/10 Newark, 5/20-21/10 MSG

too bad bigger doesnt equal better. this whole "oasis is back to form" garbage happens everytime they release an album. and while I have enjoyed every one of their albums, their shows are the same 10-12 songs with 5-7 new ones mixed in. until they change the setlist, or Liam drops off the tour, I wont pay to see them in an arena again (one of my fav bands by the way).

thats becuase Noel hates the record as he was too high on coke. even thought there are some songs that are great from that record like "I hope, I think, I know" and "do you know what i mean"

BHN is a GREAT record. yes, I said great. from what I've read, the problem is that Liam doesnt like to show up at soundcheck, which means he cant rehearse. so forget Liam. the 2006 acoustic tour was better than any recent Oasis show anyways.
