The Greatest Number of Non-PJ Shows you have been to

I know this is a place for all things PJ, but I am curious as the band seems to have become the Dead of the new century in terms of touring and ticket distribution. Are there a lot of former Dead Heads now following the band, 90's Alt Lover's, or concert junkies?

My top two are

GD 54 X
Rush 10X

Let me also say this, there will NEVER be another Grateful Dead. As far as trying to compare the touring with Pearl Jam, Grateful Dead would Tour EVERY Spring, Summer, Fall and play shows in December as well, they were ALWAYS touring. The ticket distribution was way different with Grateful Dead, you would mail order your tickets and they would send them to you before the shows, so you wouldn't have to wait in line at the venue. They also made custom tickets for you that didn't look anything like ticket master.

I was just thinking you've seen one band (Dead) just as many times as I've seen all my fav bands...double shit!

Yes I was young at the time and had the money, my cousin worked for Southwest airlines (still does) so I would always buy these tickets from him for $100.00 and I could fly anywhere that SW flew. I went to about 53 shows in 1993 alone, spent a lot of money I wish I would have saved, but I'll always have the memories. I have about 8-10 friends that I am still in contact with that I met from going to shows, they live all around the country.

    Thanks so much! :)

I was a lurker for even longer than it looks. I'm shy. ;) I go to almost all of those shows solo.

I've gone to most of the PJ shows alone, until I get inside and then it feels like one big happy family, doesn't it?
I know this thread isn't for chatting but welcome aboard and hopefully us solo girls will meet up at a wishlist party sometime soon.
I'm a heather honey too, so we already have something in common. lol

All true. Nothing better than getting that SASE envelope back with floor seats. But this feels as close as I am going to get.
