What was your very first concert? Sorry if this has been done before, but I searched old threads and didn't see one.

My first was Three Dog Night w/ opener Ten-Wheel Drive in 1970 at the Felt Forum

Audioslave, back in '03. Pretty good show, but I couldn't hear Cornell for shit over the crowd.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

It was supposed to be a festival in 1974 with James Brown, Sly and the Family Stones, War and others in Boston, MA. However a riot broke and we had to leave I'm told I left crying. :(

Officially it was The Isley Brothers, Teddy Pendergrass and others. Two weeks later I saw my first rock concert KISS at the Capital Center in Landover MD and I was hooked on rock ever since. Due mostly to the spectacle of the show than their music. Also I'm sure I had some hearing loss and that was Summer 1978.

I can't remember what was the name of that tour though.

No reason for shame here. I saw Hanson five times with my then-teenage daughter. My husband, never big on concerts, also brought her to see them once, so Hanson was his first concert and he was in his 30's at the time. I am happy to say he has since accompanied me to see PJ, Neil Young and Eddie Solo among others.

oh yeah! back then I'd never heard of them or NIN. I've no memory of the support acts playing, was taken by my aunt and our seats were as far from the stage as you could get. Was still awed by the whole spectacle though, previously I'd only been to Brisbane Road to see the O's.
