Every Pearl Jam (with maybe the exception of Vegas '93)
Rush has (have?) kicked ass EVERY time I've seen them. Laugh if you want and, yeah, Geddy's voice CAN be a bit annoying, but Rush is one tight trio
Neil & Crazy Horse - the Weld tour - 1990ish. UNBELIEVABLE!!
Counting Crows - I've heard they sometimes suck but the shows I've seen were awesome (1990's)
Big Head Todd & the Monsters - highly underrated IMHO
Bonus selection: 3 guitar gods - Kenny Wayne Shepherd (right after he came out; in a packed and sweaty bar), Jonny Lang & George Thorogood (nearly 30 years ago, in a bar that is now a strip club).
If I had known then what I know now...

1) Pearl Jam, Charlotte, 2000 - I loved Ed's interaction w/ the crowd, my first PJ concert and it was awesome
2) U2, Charlotte, 2005 - this was an amazing concert, the Joshua Tree was basically the soundtrack for my childhood in the late 80's. Hearing all of those classics in concert was awesome - and their energy was terrific
3) Stone Temple Pilots, Atlanta, 2001 - Scott came out in a Zoot suit and they opened with Shine On You Crazy Diamond, which was unbelievable. Great show and great stage presence. I was so pumped after that show.
4) The Black Keys, Asheville, 2003 - great show, small venue, all out rock and roll
5) The Black Crowes, Raleigh, 1999 - small venue, 12 ft from the stage, 12 minute jam on Thorn in My Pride, could easily be #1

I want to see Big Head Todd and the Monsters SOOOO BAD. They are coming within 3 hours of me but of course for some fucked up reason the venue is 21 and older only (I'm 18).
