Kings of Leon - Because of the Times

Boring choice maybe but i absolutely love this album, my favourite KOL album yet actually which is saying a lot as the first two are great as well. Saw them live earlier this year as well and they were excellent.
People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

    Radiohead - In Rainbows
  • At this moment I doubt much could touch Springsteen's Magic, a very classy record indeed.

i would've said neon bible until i heard this new radiohead album, i like the into the wild soundtrack as well, but i can't really say it's the best of the year, or even close for that matter.

I'd say right now my favourate album would be 'Fields - Everything Last Winter' but I'm really enojoying the new Band of Horses album so that may in the running after i've listened to it some more.

Not been a great year for albums for me, alot of stuff been a letdown in various degrees like NIN, Pumpkins, New Pornographers, Silverchair, Arcade Fire, Powderfinger, Modest Mouse.

I'm usually not very up to date with the new stuff, but I do like the following:

Chris and Rich Robinson - Brothers of a Feather
Eddie Vedder - Into the Wild
    The Avett Brothers - Emotionalism

"A consistently good band works all the different elements well. A song has to appeal sentimentally, intellectually, physically, viscerally, and dig deep down into your soul and suck you into it. And after that, of course, it'd be a matter of taste." ~ Kim Thayil from Soundgarden
  • Battles - Mirrored
    KoL - BOTT
