Call me "Johnny Come Lately", but I absolutely love this band. I haven't been really excited about new music for about ten years or so, but this band blows me away.
Their new album, "The Black Parade" is simply amazing. I realize they've been around for a couple years now, but I'm just now catching on. Their appearance on SNL last week grabbed me, but sampling the songs on iTunes hooked me.
I know this sounds like an ad for the band, but I'm truly excited about their brand of jam.
Any thoughts?

It sounds like MCR is moving from the pop/punk/screamo/what ever you want to label it territory to full on rock 'n roll band.
You have been banned for the following reason:
inappropriate post.
'Too many people on this earth. We need a new plague.' - Dwight Schrute
Kills a pound of pain

One of my favorite vids on You tube at the mo along with the Chad Kroger getting rocks thrown at him.
"Behave like rock stars - not like the President." (live - Noblesville, IN - 8/17/98)

"Yeah, I was gonna learn to play it (Breath) but somebody slipped me a bottle of viagra and was busy doing something else six times last night" (live - New York, NY - 9/10/98)

I hope that the gods will delete this band

Can't we have both? Please, can we have both?
"Hey, if God didn’t want me to wear it so much, he wouldn’t have made them rock so hard."

Probably; so everyone do your bit for society and break a radio.
Seriously though, fair enough if people like them, who am i to tell people they are crap?
I personally cant stand them though.
mcr gets a bad rep just like every other really popular band that is actually good because theres alot of tasteless people who like them....but they really are a good band!!!
they're last album was really emo..but it was great. this album is just pure rock and is even better.
they even make fun of their emo fans in their songs.
"so darken your clothes...or striken a violent pose, maybe they'll leave you alone but not me...ya teenagers scare the living shit out of me"
say what you want but this is one of the best albums in a long time
"i am the first man to shit my pants ya whew!"
its no crime to escape..theres still time to escape...theres still time so escape...
"yellow ledbetter is like the smoke after a 3 hour fuckfest" - 62strat
st.louis 04, chicago 06, and counting...
or he could be making fun of goths and gangsters. emo isnt all dark clothes. and they are a wimpy type of people so the violent pose makes no sense to emos.
Ditto, ditto, ditto. Add Fall Out Boy, and every other poppy/top 40 wanna be rock boy's band with skinny, pale, shitty tattoos, dyed jet black hair, makeup, and painted fingernails members who all think they are bad asses and so rock n roll. They all make me sick and it started with Blink 182. They are to blame. Every fucking one of these bands sound the same and should not be considered music. Pure shit. The music industry is dropping big piles of shit all over the world.
YOU CAN FUCK THAT RIGHT OFF FOR A START!
The best t-shirts at Reading were the ones that said My Chemical Toilet on them
(Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)
“Put yer good money on the sunrise”

Sammi: Wanna just break up?
But at least Greenday was closer to being punk than pure crap. Green Day has their own sound, but this new shit, well as I said earlier, it's all shit. It all sounds the same.

I like this line, and unfortunatly it's been happening for a long time.
