i got in the car to go home from work the other night and i put it on the 90's channel on sirius, and wynona's big brown beaver had just started.

first time i saw primus was in rochester, ny. the venue was like a gymnasium, and there was a bar set up along the side. me and my buddies got in early, grabbed barstools at the corner of the bar, and were about 20 feet from the stage the whole night. fucking amazing. sadly, they didn't play wynona that night, but we did hear them warming up with that song before they let people in.

les is the shit, man. back in '00 i saw frog brigade at the moe.down. was right up against the rail and les was within reach the entire set. it was great watching his fingers manipulate that bass. gave him a high five after the show, although it was more like a low five, since i was lower than he was.

Serious.......I have never got to witness the greatness that is Les Claypool in person....hopefully one day that will change.
