Yo, I just thought of something:

If Smilin' Charlie is indeed selected as McCain's running mate, Pearl Jam may have ample reason to bring a Vote for Change style tour to Florida. No sense in letting Republicans walk away with this state if they can somehow help get out the vote.

Hey Lukinfan -
I'm glad at least you agree with me. EV is great and I love the "Into the Wild" CD - which I had a hard time finding (btw). I digress. I know members of PJ have "outside projects" but I just want to actually SEE them playing together. I will be heartbroken if the band ever split up. I want them to be like Aerosmith (yes ----I'm a bit older and still have an allegience to them, and the Stones) And I thank my parents for intro'ing me to the Beatles. as well! Life would have sucked without John Lennon (RIP).

With all of that said - Pearl Jam - please come down South ("Down Yonder") and be with us. I personally am not that fussy about what your "set list" is. Just your presence will do just fine. And I don't even origninate from the South. Just glad I live here among all of these wonderful Southern Pearl Jam fans.!!!

i agree,,,,,the west coast people dont even rock out with the band,,,,hence the gorge.......so mellow compared to the east coast

okay, I had to share something with you Southerns. I'm in the middle of watching the DVD boot from 4-11-03, West Palm Beach, FL, and about 2/3 into State of Love and Trust, a fan in the front row throws his/her cell phone up to Ed during the middle of the song and he finishes singing the song into the mic and into the cell phone- how freakin cool is that!

After seeing this, how can anyone say that the band doesn't like the South? I just don't get it. I never got to see PJ in WPB- something that I WILL do on their next tour- perhaps in 08

oh well, I guess for now, all that I have are my boots- which I'm addicted to
