    I contacted the Wishlist foundation Their first outing was to collect canned food for the hungry and homeless.Maybe we could do something along these lines? What do you think?

    That's a good idea... or perhaps a local food bank?

    It's easy... just ask for a donation of food..
    I know that sounds coarse, but if you want to atttract a large number of people, just keep it easy.. sorry, that's the nature of the beast. You give them something that they want (Pearl Jam music via cover band), and you ask them to do something simple (donate food, blood, clothes.. whatever)

    near the person organizing it - or have a nucleus of people helping who are from the area selected. You need locals, to help navigate local media, sites, gather supplies, etc.

    Just in my opinion.... (and I love using that word, nucleus... my favorite word of the day.) Oops, husband is blasting "indifference", must run :)

    OK.Maybe I am trying too hard here with cover bands and fund rasing.How about a good old Fan Meetup.And I mean more then Dollpartz and me this time. Lets all get a date we can all make it and a location we can all get too. and LET'S DO THIS!
