    Guess who broke down and picked up the dvd??? I had ten bucks of credit @ Best Buy. :D I also currently downloading "Into the Wild" from iTunes.

    in the section, "giving Danny clinch...." Mike talks about their aggregate career and marvels about still haveing a career after 17 years and how they still do good on tour.. in Europe, Canada, places like Boston, NY...and somewhat hesitantly/hastily adds, "we do pretty good in the states"...

    IF it is about the MONEY, why can't they address that? Why leave us swinging in the breeze? Why did they NOT give us a heads up at the beginning of the fucking "WORLD" tour?

    now I am pissed... again.

    so if Pearl Jam pays its crew in dollars and earns euros from the tour overseas, when they convert income to dollars they automatically get a 40% bonus. Ya think?

    We can't match that, here in the dollar laden South.

    which btw, i thought danny clinch did a pretty shitty job.... the guys were great... i really dug hearing ed talk about the "energy" that the crowd gives him... i feel the same way after leaving a pj show so... im glad he feels it to.



    His daughter was toooooooooo cute!! As weird as it is seeing ed with a kid, it was just too adorable ;p

    also.. this dvd really made my wanting to meet Mr. McCready more apparent :D





    oh and yeah, please play the south?

    Huh? I watched it for the first time last night and was on the edge of my seat the entire team. That DVD kicks some major ass. Now, as for playing outside the country without PLAYING THE SOUTH, I'm admittedly bitter about that. And if I find out that it is about the money, it will probably change how I feel about Pearl Jam. They're one of my favorite bands of all-time, but skipping an entire portion of the country over money seems to go against the principles that they've always led us to believe they have. These are the same guys who have an undying appreciation for their fans, right?

    Also, PLAY THE SOUTH. DAMNIT.

    I'm starting to think they will only do some sort of mini-tour revolving around trying to influence our ballots in Southern swing states a la VFC a few years back. Still holding out hope though! Please play the South!

    amen. i live about 100 miles southeast of little rock AR. if i had known they wasnt going to play the south at all i would have drove to chicago.but i kept waiting on them to anounce a southern leg of the tour but never happened. i just wish they would have said from the get go there would be no southern tour, then i could have made plans. it hurts.
