If your metro area keeps growing, your next beltline will probably cross over both the Alabama and Tennessee state-lines........
Yeah, I'm also figuring that one day when Florida breaks off and floats away, Atlanta will have some damn nice waterfront property and a long ass bridge to Florida for which to charge exhorbitant tolls.....Seriously though, if we can't figure out a way to get all these cars off the road, we'll be like those folks in Japan who wear white masks all the time. The smog here is getting sinful.

With all the "webcast" talk going around, I think PJ should do a special Christmas webcast from my living room. It can be all public access quality ala Wayne's World or that other SNL skit where Fallon and Sanz broadcast from their dorm room. Then they could play a surprise show at the Cradle before starting Southern leg in 07.
Stop laughing! I think its a most wonderfull idea. Anyone have any cool names for the show? In the past we have had "Self Pollution Radio" and "Monkeywrench Radio". What shall we call this one?Brian0 -

Just sitting back and listening to some Jerry my heart hurt a little-so i thought i would pass on a great song by he and Hunter and justv to remind the guys please come south we need some relief down here!
Black Muddy River
When the last rose of summer pricks my finger
And the hot sun chills me to the bone
When I can't hear the song for the singer
And I can't tell my pillow from a stone
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And sing me a song of my own
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And sing me a song of my own
When the last bolt of sunshine hits the mountain
And the stars start to splatter in the sky
When the moon splits the southwest horizon
With the scream of an eagle on the fly
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And listen to the ripples as they moan
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And sing me a song of my own
Black muddy river
Roll on forever
I don't care how deep or wide
If you got another side
Roll muddy river
Roll muddy river
Black muddy river roll
When it seems like the night will last forever
And there's nothing left to do but count the years
When the strings of my heart start to sever
And stones fall from my eyes instead of tears
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And dream me a dream of my own
I will walk alone by the black muddy river
And sing me a song of my own
And sing me a song of my own
sadly it's also the last song Jerry sng with the Dead. Peace and goodnight

No rain - yeah, that's a switch huh? Although outside my window I can see it rolling in from the East - over the Druid Hills area. And I am in COMPLEGTE agreement with you - we deserve 2 nights!! But truth is, I'd settle for one at this point! I figure I'm going to have to drive to a few places to get my batteries recharged properly...... especially if all they do is play Phillips....:(~I want to realize brotherhood or identity not merely with the beings called human, but I want to realize identity with all life, even with such things as crawl upon earth.~
