I hadn't heard about that, cheers for the heads up, I'll definitely be checking that out!
I was out last night too, so I didn't catch any RATM, I forgot to set the skyplus, dammit! I've been checking BBC iPlayer but I can't find them, maybe it's not been put up yet.

Sorry to derail the thread slightly but I was a bit pissed off at that as well. Anyone know why? Part of me thinks it's some sort of polticial statement, part of me thinks it's just a marketing move to drive profits for the inevtiable Live at Cochella DVD that they've got planned.

Yeah I think it's most likely that they have a dvd coming out, still sucks though, I wanna see them now dammit! And no worries about derailing the thread, this is the longest thread I think I've ever had on here - check me out, a 5 pager! Wooo!!

Glad my thread derailment was of assistance. Better than my thread that got no replies :(
Back to KOL. How many tracks did they show? I only saw one.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
I gotta give credit to the person who ripped these, someone called Annie over on the happyalone message board, I recommend swinging by there - you can find links to the rest of the Glastonbury set plus b-sides and stuff.
I too am super stoked for this record. Liked the Kings before seeing them play, and now I am borderline obsessed. All I've listened to since the tour ended has been the boots, Evil Urges, and the Kings of F'ing Leon. Can't wait!

RE: BBC 3...was appalled at their coverage. 3 songs from REM and 4 from KOL...
If anyone has bt vision (sky plus sort of thing) go to channel 301. Last night they were streaming Stereophonics (the whole set) with no interuptions. They will be showing a band a day. It won't come up on the tv guide, but check and its there.

The KOL I did see though, was, fantastic
I whole heartedly agree, the bbc coverage was absolute dog shit. In the sunday night show I recorded there was like 2-3 REM songs and probably 8 songs each for the Fratellis, Amy McDonald and KT Tunstall, fucking ridiculous. what's more, I have no idea who that male presenter was, but he was an absolute bell-end, beyond irritating.
The only vaguely redeeming thing I've found is that they've put 2 Powderfinger videos up on the bbc site, now I gotta work out a way to rip them.....

THX!!! Gonna head over there now....
Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
And I'm bored to tears.......

I actually fast forwarded all through their commentary. Got very pissed off when it got to 50 mins and they still hadn't played the featured band!!
Annnnyywayy...thanks to faithful friends I will be attending London and Bournemouth gigs (and Brixton!) so I can watch them without any commentary and commercials!
Got my tickets for Birmingham NIA... Taking my 12 yr old daughter as its a few days before her birthday. Thanks for the heads up facepollution :D
No worries! I'm going to have to wait until closer to the time to try and get a ticket, I'm way too skint to buy one at the moment. But I do get to see them at Brixton in a few weeks so it's not so bad!

Ah don't worry, I've been there before!
I think they showed six songs, there may be more if you press the red button. I wish they would just show the whole set.
