Great review. Thanks for this! Sums up my feelings about these releases pretty well. Trent Reznor is an artist in the truest sense.

Looks like NIN had a tour planned for September including the Primaverasound Festival in Los Angeles.   Damn you, Covid 19!

I agree....my holy trinity of live bands is Pearl Jam, Wilco & NIN....had tickets to see PJ x 4 & WIlco x 3......would have seen NIN x 2 as well.

Oh my F'ing God I miss Trent reznor so much. I went to Nos Alive 2 years ago in Portugal when Pearl Jam headlined and Nine Inch Nails played the first night. I had never seen them before but was most looking forward to them (same feeling I had before my first time seeing PJ, anways...). Snow Patrol was headliner that nite and another band I can't remember, anyways it doesn't matter cuz after NIN set, I walked right out the festivals gate back to my hotel cuz nothing could top that...

I barely know any songs, but I got it.

This is one time where I can say R&RHOF got it right.  While NIN since inception has been "solely" Trent, up to the recent official designation of Ross, it's good to see the core studio & touring musicians get the nod as well.

That was a cool segment.  Brought me back....I went to the first Lolla and had never heard them.   1991? I think.
Bought their album the next day and was absolutely obsessed.

Hay Canadian NIN fans - I just preordered the Soul score from Amazon and notice the definitive edition of With Teeth is in for $26.99!! That’s a bargain!

Ended up buying this at a local store yesterday. Absolutely blown away with how good this pressing sounds. Quite possibly the best sounding record I own.

Cool now I’m excited for it to get here!! It’s my first definitive edition of any NIN record, probably gonna wave to get downward spiral too if it sounds that good!!

Do these Definitive Editions are brickwalled. But thats what Trent Wants. IDK if its still available, but theres a Back to Black version from Europe that is a faithful reproduction of the original pressing and sounds fantastic.

I have the DE of TDS too, and it sounds good, and the pressing is well done, but its just mastered louder.

Hope they release those new Ghosts albums from earlier in the year on vinyl. I loved those. Very much the soundtrack to the early part of the lockdown for me!
