Dates were announced via myspace and on their message board by fans. I wish there was a northeast date! Rumors of more shows in Jan/Feb.0 -

fuck that shit. does the world take into account that not everyone has myspace? what am i on their goddamn email list for if not to get info about this? i got about 6 emails over the past few months asking me to vote in inane bullshit to support them... they cant be bothered to email this out? id be pretty fucking pissed if i put up with those emails only to get shut out of the show.0 -
I got an email from Silverchair asking to hand out stickers at the shows. I was like, "huh? what shows?"
I think that was for the street team though. Here's hoping for another northeast show.0 -

just dont expect to hear anything from their first 2 albums (frogstomp and freak show). you might get a song or two from the latter, but they don't play anything off frogstomp anymore.0 -

Fine by me. I'd love to hear some 'Neon Ballroom' & 'Diorama' stuff live. Not sure about the new stuff though."Oh, a flower you are to my land..."0 -

interesting band indeed... have been comapred to pearl jam in the view of their new album saying that they have changed their sound ala pj circa 1996. I like that comparison it fits....
anyway I would have loved to see them live at lolla.. I have never seen them live at all which even suprises me. I love their latest record.I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you
Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl

i was at Lollapalooza and Silverchair were amazing. One of the highlights of the weekend.
i think the only 2 bands that were better were probably Muse and Daft Punk, but only because they had the aid of light shows since they played at night. You can't spell "dumb" without DMB0 -
I was there! My brother and I were confused when Eddie didn’t mention them as one of the bands playing there. If this seems confusing, ed had a list of bands he listed off that were playing at Lolla that year and Silverchair was not mentioned. Always confused me but who knows! Both Bands Freaking Killed it!0

So glad Daniel made ot through some real hard times. Loved his Dissasociatives stuff0

I only got to see Silverchair when they were still touring Frogstomp. They played Edgefest in Vancouver. They were pretty good, and I enjoyed their set, but the crowd wasn't the nicest to them :(

Saw them in 99’ at a festival RHCP headlined with John back in the band. They absolutely slayed! Those three guys put out an astounding amount of sound and were the best band of the day!www.cluthelee.com0

For those interested Silverchair have just appeared on Australian TV program ‘Australian Story’ on the ABC. It’s a two part program looking at their early success and subsequent struggles. Chris and Ben agreed to appear but probably as expected, Daniel didn’t. Only part 1 has aired so far with part 2 to follow. I’m sure Australian fans will be able to see it on ABC IView, I’m not sure about overseas viewers!? It is certainly worth a look if you’re a fan of the band. 🤘Melbourne #1 '98
