I think it's somewhere betweeb 15-20 minutes long. If you see the deluxe edition I would pick it up. It's worth it alone for Daniels story of some guy coming up to him in the park and going, "Daniel! Frogstomp! What happened?"

I just put in Faraway Stables (CD). in-fucking-credible! great sound, amazing performance, and the fact that they released a full show on CD and DVD, just perfect.

Dates were announced via myspace and on their message board by fans. I wish there was a northeast date! Rumors of more shows in Jan/Feb.

just dont expect to hear anything from their first 2 albums (frogstomp and freak show). you might get a song or two from the latter, but they don't play anything off frogstomp anymore.

Fine by me. I'd love to hear some 'Neon Ballroom' & 'Diorama' stuff live. Not sure about the new stuff though.
interesting band indeed... have been comapred to pearl jam in the view of their new album saying that they have changed their sound ala pj circa 1996. I like that comparison it fits....
anyway I would have loved to see them live at lolla.. I have never seen them live at all which even suprises me. I love their latest record.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you
Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl
I love you forever and forever

i was at Lollapalooza and Silverchair were amazing. One of the highlights of the weekend.
i think the only 2 bands that were better were probably Muse and Daft Punk, but only because they had the aid of light shows since they played at night.
I was there! My brother and I were confused when Eddie didn’t mention them as one of the bands playing there. If this seems confusing, ed had a list of bands he listed off that were playing at Lolla that year and Silverchair was not mentioned. Always confused me but who knows! Both Bands Freaking Killed it!
I only got to see Silverchair when they were still touring Frogstomp. They played Edgefest in Vancouver. They were pretty good, and I enjoyed their set, but the crowd wasn't the nicest to them :(
Saw them in 99’ at a festival RHCP headlined with John back in the band. They absolutely slayed! Those three guys put out an astounding amount of sound and were the best band of the day!
For those interested Silverchair have just appeared on Australian TV program ‘Australian Story’ on the ABC. It’s a two part program looking at their early success and subsequent struggles. Chris and Ben agreed to appear but probably as expected, Daniel didn’t. Only part 1 has aired so far with part 2 to follow. I’m sure Australian fans will be able to see it on ABC IView, I’m not sure about overseas viewers!? It is certainly worth a look if you’re a fan of the band. 🤘

Any chance of a brief run down of the highlights?
Someone has posted the YouTube link in the other silverchair thread.

That's coded for America right? If so you are my hero.
Asylum should have made Diorama. I think it's the most beautiful piece Dan has ever done too.

yes. NTSC=U.S.
so how long is the Making of Young Modern DVD?

Really? I'll check. I was just going by the date that is listed on Best Buy. Circuit City just said "pre-order" but I didn't see a date.
haha. Delores indeed. Or is it Gipple? Or Loleola?

Sadly this is probably the most "press" Silverchair will receive in this country.
