The craziest thing for me when seeing the Who after seeing PJ so many times is that they play this song like 5 or 6 songs into the set. It always throws me off when I see them. ;)

was that Daltry playing the piano?

you mean on the Pearl Jam set?
i understand it was B. Obrien

Ive never seen a pic of him so he could be standing right next to me on the metro and I wouldn't know who he is. But I read that it was him on keyboard.

Foo Fighters were good but I think Pearl Jam completely outclassed everyone on that stage.

damm after watching that pj performance i would almost give up one of my 08 pj shows to have seen these two songs back to back, if there were any doubters before this event you would have to be clueless not to realize that ,at this moment in time like right now today tonight the best band on that stage was/is fucking PEARL JAM and i'm so happy to be a fan ....... :D

Pearl Jam did fucking incredible, but even I'll admit they cannot compare to The Who. I dont even listen to "The Who" that much, but they certainly put on a better performance than PJ. Not to mention they are in their 60's.

Your opinion... OK, The Who sounded great in a nostalgic sort of way... but If Daltrey even attempted Reign at this stage with the heart that Eddie did tonight... Pete would be the only surviving member left.

first off the Who is like two guys now....and Pearl Jam fucking killed it. They were the best band out there!!! Eddie should have sang instead of Roger during The Who set. I thought every other band sounded weak compared to Pearl Jam, especially the Foo Fighers and Incubus. I think Dave Grohl had some vocal troubles before the concert so that may have contributed to it.

I know those were some of the best songs of the set... and the taping they showed ended 10 minutes before the hour... so the had the time for at least two of these songs...

But on the other hand I am glad I was there in person...
