Two Gallants - dto.
The Decemberists - the Crane Wife
Murder by Death - In Bocca Al Lupo

Haha. Thanks. The Crane Wife was actually last year. Great album.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.
I guess I could name 5 albums for the sake of naming 5 albums, but there was really only one for me that deserves love on an end of the year list.
Modest Mouse made an absolutely amazing album that was so far superior to anything else that came out this year, that everything else isnt even worth mentioning alongside WWDBTSES.
Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Can you limit this to five? You can throw out Into the Wild, as we are not counting it for this poll because it's Ed and this is a Pearl Jam board.

1. Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris
2. The Shins - Wincing the Night Away
3. Fair to Midland - Fables From a Mayfly
4. Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
5. Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
Order.
1. Black Rebel Motorcycle club- Baby 81
2. Kol- Beause of the Times
3.The white Stripes- Icky Thump
4.Wintersleep- Welcome to the Night Sky
5. Untitled- Untitled
I actually couldn´t find anything that could take place 5 this year; started thinking about my life and capabilities and had an epiphany and wrote an album 2 weeks ago under the influence of everything and nothing and recorded it at my friends house. Yeah, what can I say. I am an Egomaniac.
The results thread will be posted on Jan. 1. As it now stands, the top ten looks like:
1. Radiohead- In Rainbows
2. Arcade Fire- Neon Bible
3. The White Stripes- Icky Thump
4. Kings of Leon- Because of the Times
5. Modest Mouse- We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
6. Queens of the Stone Age- Era Vulgaris
7. Wilco- Sky Blue Sky
8. Spoon- Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
9. Nine Inch Nails- Year Zero
10. Band of Horses- Ceases to Begin
A few votes could still change this list substantially, so let's see the lists from those of you who have yet to vote.
