Great night of music. The album really comes alive with all those horns and
strings. Can't wait to hear "The River"
Great recording. Please note that this upload starts with TK002 as the first
track was pre recorded music that violates DIME policy.
from what im reading, scopers version is a tad superior, but theyre both decent.
Just what I was waiting for...
2 requests:
a) Can you add the full links for the Scopers links (what's currently there does not work)?
b) If you come across a copy of "The River" show, that would be great to post as well.
TIA

...Bruce needs to incorporate the official bootlegs...
ahhh this is where boooce and i dont get along
i mean boooce plays a hippie fest(bonnaroo) and he asks/makes all the tapers to take down their mic stands for his set. WTF are u afraid of bruce?? face reality man...almost every show of yours is taped. you are not going to win that battle. ask eddie vedder(former bruce taper)
Bruce forgot where he was last night ,
while playing in Michigan , he thought he was in Ohio .
The accepted requests had a distinctive Michigan flavor, first with Bob Seger's "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" (played one time previously on tour, also at the Palace, back on August 18, 1992), and then with the "Detroit Medley." Bruce started "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" by playing the distinctive opening keyboard riff on guitar, and with that started a three-pack dance party right in the middle of the set, with Bruce playing guitar slinger throughout. By the end of his blistering solo in "Because the Night" — during which Bruce proved he could blow a snot rocket and play a guitar solo at the same time — my voice was gone, my hearing was shot, and my legs were jell-o. He's a freaking force of nature, is all I can say... and that band is pretty damn good these days.
Show highlights including a roaring version of "Johnny 99" early on (perhaps a bit of a reference to the state of the auto industry), and also a thundering performance of "Born in the U.S.A." During "Rosalita," Bruce handed the mic to Steve at the beginning of the second verse and Steve survived it, as Bruce went to check something side stage (maybe the woman who stole the spotlight during "Dancing in the Dark" by jumping on stage from the pit and dancing much too wildly). Finally, the closer, "Higher and Higher," which finally allowed Cindy Mizelle to get a bit of the spotlight, closed the show on a high.

First timer last night, and the show in Milwaukee was just amazing:
November 15, 2009
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Bradley Center
Cadillac Ranch
Badlands
Hungry Heart
Working On A Dream
Thunder Road
Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out
Night
Backstreets
Born To Run
She's The One
Meeting Across The River
Jungleland
Darlington County
Waitin' On A Sunny Day
Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
Loose Ends
Jole Blon
Growin' Up
Into The Fire
The Rising
No Surrender
Living Proof
Kitty's Back
American Land
Dancing In The Dark
Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)
Higher & Higher
Wish I spent an extra $30 for closer seats or GA since the section I was at wasn't as excited as I was expecting. Them plugging out "Into the Fire' made the show for me, although I wish they played at least a couple more songs from WOAD, but the show overall was really worth it.

Growin' Up
Mary Queen Of Arkansas
Does This Bus Stop At 82nd Street?
Lost In The Flood
The Angel

Spirit In The Night
It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City

damn, I've seen 7 shows on this last leg of the tour. been hoping for Lost In the Flood at each show and gotten skunked.
anyone else heard rumors that buffalo will be the last ever show with the E Street Band? Clarence especially hasn't looked too good during this tour (healthwise I mean...he is pushing 70 years old!!)
blinded by the light will be interesting
does bruce keep his traditional deace in there
or throw in manfred mans deusche instead.
LOL
i was too young to buy asbury park when it came out but i was totally on board with manfred mann's version(a 45 hit single, nonetheless) and many years later i finally bought asbury park and realized it was a bruce song that manfred did!!!
sorry 2 hear your bad luck "thefixer". what's weird is me getting to the idea that i am actually going to hear this song(lost in the flood), finally. after many years/shows of bruce's.
and as far as the estreet's last. so hard to say. my guess is clarence won't be on any more big tours anymore, and he is THE MAN. the estreet to me has always been about clarence.

Watch on the day of or before - I can't believe no more tickets will drop. Also, I never used it but there's a guy on the btx board where you have to pay some small amount and sign up and he'll notify you if and when tickets to a (springsteen) show you want are dropping.
