I like it. I'm happy Morello saved the scratching for Tom Joad and didn't put it on others. I still think the scratching is more suitable for RATM and feel it's out of place on Tom Joad, but Bruce likes it.

Stand out songs after first listen:

    Harry's Place
    Down in the Hole
    Heaven's Wall
    Frankie Fell In Love
    The Ghost of Tom Joad
    The Wall

I prefer the original studio version of "American Skin" that was recorded during "The Rising" sessions. This version is still good, but I prefer the original version.

    2 thoughts about this song:

    1. Sounds kinda like John Mellencamp's Small Town.
    2. How do we know he didn't mean Just Like Fire Wood

This album is really growing on me, not that I didn't like it before, but I am really love it now.

I agree with "The Wall" it is one of the best from the album.

    My other favorites are:

    "American Skin"
    "Harry's Place"
    "Hunter of Invisible Game"
    "Frankie Fell in Love"

I think "Heaven's Wal" is the weakest for sure.
    Tres Mts- 3/16/2011
    Eddie Vedder- 7/16/11
    Brad- 4/21/12 (RSD Performance), 4/27/12, 8/10/12
    Flight To Mars- 5/23/12
    RNDM- 11/27/12

PEARL JAM- 12/6/13 I have finally seen Pearl Jam live!

    40 bucks, Bruce?

Did Ed tell you they sell them for only 17 bucks, or did you even care?

That's what happens when you take bootleg advice from Rob Thomas. Bruce, Landau, and co. dropped the ball on this one big time.

I've been listening to a lot of Bruce lately and watching a lot of footage on youtube. I can honestly say now that Bruce is my favorite musical artist. He's been number 2 to PJ for a while, but not anymore. :)

I'm fine with no CDs. I don't buy the PJ cds either since they are CD-Rs. I can just burn the mp3s or FLAC files. I'm just happy to be getting soundboard recordings.

Yeah, he's definitely shot up for me. He has shot up to #3 on my list, with The Beatles 1 and PJ 2 for me. Bruce is greatness.
