Home office #5.  Saving the best for last.  Was lucky enough to score one of these in the original Cubs charity auction.  I was told by the Cubs that there are only eight of these.  Was also lucky enough to score one of the Marucci bats, which is a nice complement to the Wrigley / baseball theme.  Next up, the basement.

Signed by Mr. Cub too?!?! Super jealous. That’s a beauty.

Home office #3.  This is the poster that got me into collecting and framing.  I attended this show with a good friend from Australia who lived in the US at the time.  I bought this poster for him as a gift.  He later married into a family that owned a framing store in Waco, TX.  They came up with this design for him.  Once I saw it I hunted down this poster for myself and had them do the same for me.  Thus starting the poster collecting craze.  The best part is that I'll get to see his original version in person when I visit him in November for the Melbourne and Sydney shows!

Interesting. That's a lot. For me, the mat work, while creative, really takes away from the beauty of the poster. I think the art, not the mat, should be the focus of gig poster framing.

Finally got this framed and put up in my home office. This show never happened due to Covid, but I liked this poster better than the Sep 2022 Denver poster and this was still available on the site.

On to the basement...  Starting with the Gigaton Set.  Just happen to have a large wall on which all three of these monsters fit (they are each 40 X 40).  Had the print mounted (not dry mounted!) on top of the matting so that you can see the jagged border of the print itself.

  • My first contribution here.
This poster has been framed for quite some time, but haven't posted it here.
Backside of framed poster includes 2 tickes, 4 plectrums and a setlist from Padova show in 2018. Stil have no clue to whom this setlist belonged to. If anybody wants to help me out and do a litlle research about setlist, can find bigger picture of backside here (that would make my day :hang_loose:
Out of curiosity, how much do you think this would be valued at? Im not selling it, since this was my and my wife only PJ show up to date yet, but yesterday i got curious
Anyway, Dark Matter is growing on me with each listen! Great weekend guys...

    Very nice!
I'm no pro about setlists, but looking at the notes it seems like from a sound person. Stage used usually would have tape on it. Maybe a little more beat up looking.

Basement #2.  I flat out stole this idea from someone else in this thread and I'm not afraid to admit it!   :)  So thank you OP for this absolute beauty!

Forgive me if this is already been discussed. I’ve just gone down the wormhole for Tool poster collections . They have a new spin on poster collecting with something called “Remarques”. It’s where the original artist sells special poster, additions with doodles or added features that are not included in the original version. I’ve even seen individual fans. Send the original poster back to the artist for a specialized Remarque. Opens up a whole new world to this poster collection craze . Do any of the PJ posters ever get the Remarque treatment ?

is that your poster? I'm just wondering because Alex and his wife live in my hometown . Their chapel CoSM is only about 5 miles from me. I never even thought about asking him to do anything like this but I might just drive over tommorrow and see if he would do that to one of my tool posters . Thanks for posting this
