^ RIP Flaco the owl…. He was a cool underdog story, poor dude flew into a building after living in the wild for last year while freed by some ass at the zoo
been in the news here, poster made me think of him
I have an owl in my yard… scared shit out of me last summer when I took my dog out to do his business at night…. Few feet away he flew from a branch, big wing span… felt the majesty, was stoned… my first introduction without knowing it was tgere
I have seen the baroque portfolios for storing unframed posters.....but....
Does anyone have a cool invention for storing framed posters....in the frame?
I have so many framed posters, I want to rotate some of these that are on the walls, and of course dont want to take apart all the frames and re-store the poster in the portfolio with the mats and glass.
Not Pearl Jam, but completes the trifecta of baseball themed posters in my son's room. Like the Fenway Joe Green, the old school baseball card design is what appealed to me about this one. And a classic Ames, if you ask me. The funny story about this one is that as I was getting ready to hand this across from the foot of his bed (he would have been about four at the time) my wife asks "What if he wakes up and gets nightmares when he sees that?" To which my son replies "Yeah, dad. What if I get nightmares?" 🤦♂️ So I switched this to the wall at the head of his bed so that he would not see it, when hypothetically waking up in the middle of the night. The irony is that now Joe Green stares at him from the wall across from the foot of his bed, arguably more nightmare fuel than this one. I'm happy to report there have been no nightmares to date (he is now 12).

Will post pics of my home office next.
Love the Foos and the image is cool…except for the fact that the glove is on the wrong hand. Ruined the poster for me. And I was at the show.

I’m a long-time lurker of this thread but have never shared my own. I love all of the thought that goes into everyone’s frame jobs. So many cool ways to enhance these awesome prints. I opted for the less-flashy, more-economical route - thank you frameiteasy.com. I think things have turned out pretty well. Just searching for a Lolla 2007 Abe print to make things feel complete - at least until this year’s tour starts up. Cheers, everyone!

One thing I started to do on occasion is just prime and spray paint the frame. It's a super easy and cheap way to give a different look to the frame job, while still buying economical frames.
