    Nope.

    way too much orange.  that matte does not do the poster any favors.

    the orange is too much.  it draws your eye away from the details of the poster.  I look at that image and all I can see is the matting.  it detracts from the art itself.

    I'll be the first to say, when I was younger and just getting into the framing, I made some spectacularly awful decisions.  A lot of it was just bad taste.  

    white matting (matched to the paper if possible) and subtle, but detailed, wood frames complementing the image is the only way to go.  occasionally you can get away with a 1/4-inch of highlight matting, but not here.  having the art go all the way to the edge of the paper, it doesn't belong.

    I'd say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but man, there is a lot of bad taste out there...

    Only go all out like this for shows I take my son to. He is 14 and did Nashvegas with me last year.

    Thanks. Agreed, swanky AF, and I would have been a fool not to what with the walls already being opened up.
