I left it up to the guy at the store...since he's the professional
He called me in the other day to "ok" everything and when i saw them, i fell in love with what he'd chosen.<a href="http://www.last.fm/user/Krisdababe/?chartstyle=Krisdababe"><img src="http://imagegen.last.fm/Krisdababe/recenttracks/Krisdababe.gif" border="0" /></a>

It's a matte...the coloured piece around the poster. There's just a cutout for the ticket<a href="http://www.last.fm/user/Krisdababe/?chartstyle=Krisdababe"><img src="http://imagegen.last.fm/Krisdababe/recenttracks/Krisdababe.gif" border="0" /></a>

That framing job is BAD ASS
Thanks, I really can't take credit for it. All I do is drop the prints off at my framer's, and he does all the work. He is a little slow, but he hasn't let me down yet. These pretzels are making me thirsty0 -

On average how much are you spending per framing? Over Christmas break I had an autographed 16x20 picture framed for my dad and it was about $250 to get done, yikes. One of those FastFrame joints, just wondering if theres any better pro framing places, other than Michael's"i wanna rock and roll **all night**, and part of everyday"0 -

That frame job was $115, and that's about the average price I'm paying per print. Acid free linen mat, uv glass, all the archival type quality materials. In the past 18 months I've had about 12 items framed. He gives me a huge discount on his work because I bring in so much stuff, and I let him work at his own pace. If he's busy with other stuff I don't pressure him. I also give him total control over what the frame job looks like. I don't ask him to make it match my couch or anything like that, which gives him the ability to pull out colors from the prints with the frames and mats. He knows to use archival materials on everything he does for me, because that's the only thing I'm really anal about.
I would suggest finding a "mom and pop" store, talk to them about how many you want done, and see if they'll give you a discount. Most of the time, if they know you're going to be consistently bringing items in, they'll hook you up.These pretzels are making me thirsty0 -
Has anyone done the ticket stub thing with a frame from americanframe? I want to frame my boston one with the ticket stub but can't justify dropping that kind of coin to get it done professionally. Did anyone just cut the matting, or just position it between the matting and the glass?0

Assuming that most A.C. Moore stores run the same specials each week, here's a tip. I was able to get an 18" x 24" (nice) wood picture frame for my Camden I, back it with a big sheet of black acid-free paper instead of matting it ... for around $12."Information is not knowledge.

Here are my old ones...the new ones I will be getting back in a few weeks...He is alive but feels absolutely nothing.
So is he?
When he was six he believed that the moon overhead followed him.
By nine he had deciphered the illusion trading magic for fact.
No tradebacks...
So this is what it's like to be an adult
