Here's my only framed poster, from Bridge 2010. Signed by Ed and Brad. No. 167 out of 214. Going to get my Wrigley Cracker Jack framed next, just soo damned expensive

Is the wrigely poster signed too? I see your avatar with a Cubs player?
The Bridge Poster looks awesome!!!!!!! It is quite expensive when you pay someone to do it right.
Now, to do it yourself you can save a ton of dough???

No it's not signed. I'm gonna do it with our tickets fanned out along the bottom though. I think it was like $100. Cheaper to do it yourself but I'd rather let the pros do it, at least for the special posters. And no that is definitely not a Cubs player, although he probably wants to be from time to time :)
If you got that double matted and a nice frame for 100.00 then I would stick with that framer and can I send you some of my posters to be framed? Great price.

My wife got it done at Michaels with a 50% off coupon. She doesn't remember exact price, it may have been around $130.

I bought this shadow box at Michaels for maybe less than $50. It was fairly easy too.

a couple from the last tour...

I couldn't do my usual two inch border on denver because standard mat board is only 38" tall. oh well, for a tall, skinny poster I think it's OK.

on st. paul, I had to magic marker the mat core....otherwise, it looked very washed out with yellow next to white. I kinda liked the look with a purple mat and maybe should have gone with that. I don't stress too much on these...I just get 'em flat and up on the walls.

For those who order through American Frame, how hard is the assembly once everything is received? Also, I am on a strict budget, I have 4 posters I am needing to get framed, including the monster that is the PJ20 Klausen. I am looking for a "very reasonably" priced black frame from AF. Any suggestions? Thanks all!!

Very easy and comes with instructions. Probably takes 20-30 mins or so to frame. For me, the most time-consuming part is getting the poster aligned properly on the back of the bottom mat, and then putting it into place with acid-free paper and tape.

super easy. I've done so many, it's probably now a 15 minute job. I think they tell you to pre-drill for the clips on the back but it's not at all necessary. just run 'em in with a cordless drill. All my posters were framed using american frame #8411.

the "monster" poster may cost you extra shipping. On anything over 50 inches width plus height, they'll hit you with another 15 bucks. you can get the frame unassembled to avoid the surcharge, but the mat (if you have one) will put you over.
