Just had my Klausen MK poster done and they did double sided glass so you can still read the backprint. For a steal too

WOW!!! This is totally my style.. Company name noted!dfunk49 said:I just recently got around to framing a bunch of my posters and wanted to share how awesome they turned out. They were all made by a great Canadian company called Eddycrest Furniture. All the frames were made of old rough wood. This was the first time they had ever done anything like this and they knocked it out of the park. I now have frames that are as much art as the posters inside them. I can't thank them enough. www.eddycrest.com or Eddycrest on Instagram and Facebook

With BK's message on the back, you really have to frame this print like this!!
It would be a SHAME to cover up the back!!

I just ordered this custom frame for my 12x36 Norway 2014 Viking poster. How cool will this look once put together0

I dropped mine off at the framers yesterday. I chose a similar frame... mine looks like a hammered bronze. I'll post when it comes back.willbarclay said:I just ordered this custom frame for my 12x36 Norway 2014 Viking poster. How cool will this look once put together

I finally got around to framing my Toronto 9/11/2011.
I'm happy with the end result. There was a crease across the antlers, but the framer was able reduce it somehow. Looking at it you would never know." />

Got this done because it was my first time traveling to a show. Never framed a thing before so doing this was also a first. My Portland EMEK is next, and I am waffling what to do about my 1995 tour poster since it is damaged and my PJ20 poster since it is not a favorite.
Is there a way to frame a damaged poster and have it look cool?

Thanks. I'm pleased with it. It was my first frame job. I want to have a consistent look to all my posters, so I chose a frame which I'll use for all (or most) of them, then will do custom matting for each poster.jason_94 said:Garasauras said:I finally got around to framing my Toronto 9/11/2011.

Looks great! How do they use glass on the back? Is the print pressed against the back as it would normally be against the foamcore or whatever? Or is it (somehow) floating between the two sheets of glass. If it's touching, wouldn't it have the same risks as if the front is pressed against the glass (i.e. condensation damage, ink sticking to the glass)?moonandstars said:Just had my Klausen MK poster done and they did double sided glass so you can still read the backprint. I'm really wondering what I will do with my double sided posters. I've toyed with the idea of framing both copies (A/P front, show back) but that could get massive/expensive!0 -

I LOVED the back of the Emek Portland poster and asked my framer if she could figure out a way that I could view it...she cut a black matte for the back and covered it with a sheet of plexiglass:
For my Wrigley Cracker Jack...I just had her make a photocopy of the back of the poster and glued it to the backing material of the frame:
She also did this for my Pittsburgh / Munk One & the Klausen / Worcester!!

I like what you have going on here, but I worry that there's not that much supporting the poster in the middle. I mean usually there's just a few mm behind the matte, isn't there?derbydave said:0 -
