I LOVED the back of the Emek Portland poster and asked my framer if she could figure out a way that I could view it...she cut a black matte for the back and covered it with a sheet of plexiglass:
    photo 20140503_150000_zps08ab83fc.jpg

I like what you have going on here, but I worry that there's not that much supporting the poster in the middle. I mean usually there's just a few mm behind the matte, isn't there?
My framing professional is one of the best in the business!!

    photo 20140503_150842_zps36a079cf.jpg

If you look at the front of the poster you'll see that it's got 2 levels of matte board, a gold fillet between the mattes and the UV Art glass!!.
Then there is another matte on the back of the poster, plus the plexiglass...trust me, this one will be just fine!!

Some Good Ideas here...I've got a couple of Posters that need framing...I'm just after a Black Frame of some sort like a lot of People have on here nothing too outrageous or extravagant.

I just framed this with a frame and mats I bought from Frames By Mail. I think it came out pretty good. Mr. Neko approves!

Thanks derbydave! They're having a sale through the end of the month, so I'm going to frame the ugly Brooklyn poster and a really cool Barclays poster I have. I'll post pics once I get them done.

Very nice, but I'm sure expensive for the framing supplies. I ordered from there a while back, was happy with the outcome, but for the price I might as well had gotten it framed at Michaels. Ever try americanframe.com? Just as good if not better quality, more selection and cheaper.

I've used American Frame a lot in the past, but you have to assemble their frames and I didn't want to deal with that. This was the first time I ordered from Frames By Mail, and I'm very happy with their service and the quality of their merchandise. This cost less than $100, and all I had to do was fasten the poster to the backing and drop it into the frame. FBM has a much larger selection of mats too. I have an oversize poster I'm going to do next, and AF only has white and black mats for a project that size.

One of my favorite posters. Looks awesome! I wish I would've been more creative when I had some of mine framed. Went black on the inner and white on the outer mattes. Fortunately, I met my wife by the time I had three of my Who posters framed.

Thanks! Not sure what the color is. It's kind of a blue gray suede I think. I bought the VIP package when The Who came to Denver last year and that was part of it. Signed and numbered by the artist. I wish I would've got the ones signed by Pete and Roger but they were sold out by the time I talked my wife into letting me buy them. Still, had 4th row, Pete side. Worth every penny!
