It depends for me. Sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't.
I framed my Cincinnati '14 with the tickets which I gave to my son for Christmas. I included the tickets mainly because it was his first concert and it will always be a special memory for us. Going forward I don't think I will frame tickets, stickers, or anything with the poster.
Ok- Hate to ask but I don't even know where to start with this thread.
I want to start chipping away at the framing with the huge caveat of - - what is the best value custom frame job?
Michaels seems to always be 40% off
Anyone ever used Frame It Easy or Simply Framing?

I used Michael's for my Cracker Jack frame. $220 later, I went with webpictureframes.com for the remaining 13. A simple black frame, white matt and anti-glare UV acrylic runs me about $100. I'll try to add some pics, but I'm on my phone so...Adventure awaits

I love having the ticket nice and centered on the bottom because visually it can align evenly and works out great imo.
Putting in stickers on the other hand I have never been a fan. Especially when they dont match the print in any sort of way or they are just thrown in somewhere random.

Not a PJ poster. Never could find a mat that matched the colors on the poster, think the frame does the job pretty well. It's the printers proof 1 of 1, of the Allman Brothers Band and Widespread Panic from 2009 in Charlotte, NC. Someone posted a pic of the bottom of the poster on expressobeans back in March, guess they found where I posted it at in the past.

We used to and we came home to frames/canvas on the ground numerous times. We lived in Hawaii then so not sure if the problem was the wall paint or humidity, but I can only speak for that. Considering you probably spent some serious $s with custom framing, I wouldn't trust those things. I don't use them anymore, but surely some have no issues with them

The guy that sent it to me used it. Hasn't gotten the print back of course, but the person he dealt with said they use conservation glass, archival mounting, and acid free board/mat. I'll be dropping off at least one print on Friday.

Sometimes it's more than 55% (I've seen up to 70%). Even with that deal I usually spend around $120-$150 depending on which frame I choose and I always get double mattes, archival backing and UV glass. The $79 deal for a single matte is a great deal and I'm excited bc I have a few I was planning to only do a single matte anyway.

I am hoping to get 2 done as well. I went in yesterday to talk to them. The $79 deal only includes this one wooden frame that is a little larger than the metal ones I typically use. I think I'm going to use the deal to frame my MIA poster though, since I was going to do a single matte (white?) since the poster has so much going on itself. I may do the other deal for a Fenway poster, not sure yet.
