I asked the framers if they could make the artists’ signature & edition number visible on the back...

I LOVE how this turned out!!

Thanks for the comments...
I'm just lucky to have found an AMAZING local framing shop that does GREAT QUALITY work!!
I just tell them what I'm trying to do and they make it HAPPEN!!
Speaking of POSTCARDS...Can't wait to see what you did with your EV Postcards!!
I've got a couple from my shows in Jacksonville and they are going in the frames with the posters.
Should have the Night #1 poster back later this week or early next week!!
I also picked up a couple of Tim Doyle's "UnReal Estate" postcard sets from Nakatomi:
Just a few of my FAVES:
"These Pretzels are making me THIRSTY!!!!"
"There's an old Italian saying: you F@&K up once, you lose two teeth."
"There's MONEY in the Banana Stand"
I may have to get a few of these framed too!!

my post cards are just in a stupidly simple frame.... i have no wall space left in the house i'm allowed to use (despite there being a ton of blank walls), so i did up a small frame to put in the office...
i had 2 extra postcards... i was trying to contact mark5 to see if i could send them to him and have him sign 2 on the front and doodle all over the back of the other too so i could frame them all up and have a super unique piece... after 3 month trying to contact him with no response i gave up and just framed 2 postcards... wasnt too happy about that... the man is certainly no bradk....Houston, Texas... I'm a HUGE Breaking Bad Fan...
kind of bummed that this is gonna be the final season
That would be fun just to drive around town and see all the locations from the show!!
If you're a fan of the show & like poster art...
You should check out the Breaking Gifs series of posters:
http://www.breakinggifs.com/bg/
I know a FEW of us (I'm talking to you MATT) almost went BROKE when they were releasing the posters from this series...
Kind of hoping they do it again for the final season too!!

I think they are all sold out of the Futurama print already!!!
It looks like the only posters left from his UnReal Estate 2 show are the Downton Abbey & Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood prints!!
Here's the website if you wanna check and see if more become available later:
http://store.nakatomiinc.com/timdoyle.aspx
Just an FYI...
The Futurama post card wasn't included in the set...
It was a separate "freebie" item included in the package with my order.
It has Info for Tim's Exhibit at Spoke Art in San Francisco on the back!!!
There was also a Nakatomi sticker and a "Caveman on Campus" CD by King Megatrip.

I love the white finish of the frame!!!
The new Photobucket is easier to use...but it kind of sucks when you have HUNDREDS of pictures stored there!!
I've notice that if I upload something from the camera on my phone...it puts them all the way at the end of my library!!
It took me 20 minutes to figure out where these ended up '96: Seattle: Key Arena

Thanks for the info Dave!
Tim also did that wicked Transformer print. http://www.partsandlabour.blogspot.ca/
Wasn't there 2 versions of this one? And they were sold last year or so.
Now there's a huge 24x36 version, and I missed it!
Ay caramba!!!0 -

There was a variant of the Transformer print with metallic ink:

On standby for the 24x36 colored one from Texas. *crossing fingers.
I like the colored one much better then the variant.

Thanks for the compliments...I LOVE my FRAMERS!!
This one is kind of small!!
The art piece is only 5″ tall x 6″ wide...
but the frame is pretty deep, almost like a shadowbox!!
I did the mattes to match the 3 edition colors:
They made:
40 in HazMat Yellow
40 in Black Lung
20 in Meth Blue (translucent)
The framing shop I use has a 25% off coupon available on their website (though they give me the discount automatically now) so this frame job only cost me about $125.00!!
I think the most expensive one I did was the EMEK / Bon Iver...it was just under $400...but well worth it!!!Post edited by derbydave on'96: Seattle: Key Arena

My wife let me use one of the walls in our house for some of the shows I went to over the years. These are primitive BlackBerry pics of it, and had to reduce the pixels to fit on this thread. No matting, just frames. I really should take some better pictures. Walking into the room always makes me happy.
