I dont like the thin frame look at all. It looks weird with the wide mat. Just my opinion but I like the thicker frames much more. It looks like you bought a $5 walmart frame and spent $40 on a mat. Nice mats though, except for the white mat. Yuck....

To each his own. I personally prefer thin frames as well. Doesn't look Walmart to me. Looks neat and non-gaudy.
And white mat is clean, and doesn't detract from the poster art.
FYI, the listed dimensions on espresso are NOT always accurate. Measure the poster yourself!!!! Trust me, it can only help.
You can also use http://www.framesbymail.com for do it yourself framing. They are actually a little cheaper than american frames.

if you look at the bubbles.. theres the neon green, and theres a few that are a color of the mat... i couldnt find any matt to match the neon green or pink.. so i decided to go with one that matches the olive green in the bubbles

Ok, I see it now. It looks like those particular bubbles are just the combo of the neon green and pink, since it's just a 3-color print. That would make sense, actually. I wish I remembered all of my color theory terms from design class, but yeah...that would make sense.

The Philly 2000 came together with a little help from my wife. Yellow frame, brown mat, and then a little white mat on the inside. I have to find a spot on my living room walls for philly 06 night 1. That one turned out really good. Need to get some pics of it. Below are the other posters that I have framed........
The PJ posters that I need framed yet are Philly 03, Reading 04, Philly 05, and Philly Night 2 06. I am still looking for a Philly 98. Anyone out there with an extra? Almost won it on ebay the other day.
