    We challenged the framer to come up with a frame job as HIDEOUS as this poster...I think she did a GREAT JOB!!
    Using SCRAP Fillets & an OLD BAMBOO frame from another framer's basement, this one cracks me up now!!

    She said there was no way she could charge more than that for this one!!!

    I now have 10 posters here all ready to frame! Seems such a daunting task! Have one done and hung on the wall. So hopefully one by one I can get them done and will for sure share here when I do!

    I didn't intend to collect posters. I just decided I'd search for the shows I went to at first and it somehow spiralled out of control. I have framed 24/32 so far but I am trying to ease off on purchases for a bit. It is very addictive!

    I actually like BOTH the Missoula and the Columbus poster....neither is stellar and Columbus is just bizarre (smurfs? dinosaurs?) but neither is near as bad as the recent Seattle or Vancouver '11.

    The Pitt poster looks amazing! The black mat and frame and the bright mats underneath really make the colors in the print pop.

    Obviously Pitt is getting most of the attention at the moment but the Hartford and NYC prints look amazing side by side. Love the simplistic approach.

    Thanks guys. I am going with a pretty simple theme, all the frames are the same, the mat is black but its the bright core mats so we change the core color depending on the print. For Pitt we added a 2nd matte since I thought it would really make it pop. Funny thing is my framer had the Pitt poster out in his shop I guess for a day or so and he said he had 3-4 comments on it, two people who wanted to buy it and another women who took a picture of it. I guess even the general public is intrigued by that one :)

    My framer did not seem daunted by the project, so I'm guessing yes. Went with a single mat. Should be done in a few weeks. Them shits need to flatten out. They've been in a tube since the show dates.
