Many thanks to ahill for hooking me up with the signed version for free! Still haven't decided if I want to keep my one from the show or pass it on, but I am so happy to have finally gotten my first PJ poster professionally done!

My EV solo posters from Chicago should be here in a couple of days!

Nicely done my friend! You went with the same idea on the mats as I did. After 25 plus PJ frame jobs, this is my favorite job.

Yep, I used yours as inspiration! I also have most of those posters you do, and absolutely love what you've done. I actually am waiting for that Bridge school poster to get here from overseas!! I got a pretty good deal on one!

What is that baby blue color on Eddie print, is that wood frame, did you use double frame there??

BOH print is really cool too, I never saw it? How is the artist, do you know??

    Dirty Frankk,
Thanks for the feedback...I'm pretty happy with the way these turned out too :D
The Baby Blue color is like an inner wood frame and the frame designer calls it a "Confetti Fillet"
It ends up being a little bit cheaper than cutting a couple of mattes!!!
The Band of Horses print is by a local Louisville design company called Madpixel.
Here's their website if you'd like to check out more of their artwork & designs:
    http://www.madpixel.net/
I think the bridge is the I-64 or Sherman Minton bridge on the west side of Louisville going into southern Indiana.
I really like the woman's face in purple and didn't even notice it until I had it framed!!! :ugeek:

OMG...I am waiting this print to arrive. I got it of the eBay from him, David Rathman (not cheep 100$) but I can't wait to see it in person, and for sure is going to be framed.

Nice frame with ticket, good job

If any other Aussies are in this thread...roughly what does it cost to get a poster framed here? Or are there any places you'd recommend buying a frame from to do it yourself?

Thanks, and I'm not sure on the S/N at all their shows as it's the first show I've been to. The entry on the Inside the Rock Poster Frame site alluded to them being that way though:
Minneapolis artist David Rathman did the poster for tonight's Black Keys show at The Target Center. It's a 14" x 28" giclee based on an original watercolor painting of his. As always, it's a limited edition and signed and numbered.

They do have a lot of S/N copies on this tour, the reason; my guess is the low number of the posters. I think they have for each gig maybe 100, max 200 copies for sale it's not like PJ with 1000 prints on every gig.
That's why they are all signed and numbered, artist is keeping maybe 50 copies for his sale and the rest is sold at the venue....again it's my guess ;)

...and to finish The Black Keys teory about posters....they went so high in price like crazy...yeah they are bigger band but low number of the copies = high price, that's why PJ Edmonton Emek is only worth 100$ and every TBK is form 100$ to 200$ even some really bad ones...crazy IMO.
