I've got my EV Chicago posters back today and they are incredible!! Might not get to post the pics until tomorrow, but they look great!
Formerly Brew Crew Tix “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.
After a long, long time I took some posters to frame shop, some PJ some TBK. I need to catch up with 2012.
Can't wait to put new stuff in the house :corn:
Coming back soon with pics.

Many thanks to ahill for hooking me up with the signed version for free! Still haven't decided if I want to keep my one from the show or pass it on, but I am so happy to have finally gotten my first PJ poster professionally done!
My EV solo posters from Chicago should be here in a couple of days!
Nicely done my friend! You went with the same idea on the mats as I did. After 25 plus PJ frame jobs, this is my favorite job.

Yep, I used yours as inspiration! I also have most of those posters you do, and absolutely love what you've done. I actually am waiting for that Bridge school poster to get here from overseas!! I got a pretty good deal on one!

Gordan: That's an awesome looking print and you did a great job with framing. Is there something special with TBK that they sell signed and numbered prints at the gigs?
If any other Aussies are in this thread...roughly what does it cost to get a poster framed here? Or are there any places you'd recommend buying a frame from to do it yourself?

Thanks, and I'm not sure on the S/N at all their shows as it's the first show I've been to. The entry on the Inside the Rock Poster Frame site alluded to them being that way though:
Minneapolis artist David Rathman did the poster for tonight's Black Keys show at The Target Center. It's a 14" x 28" giclee based on an original watercolor painting of his. As always, it's a limited edition and signed and numbered.

Gordan: That's an awesome looking print and you did a great job with framing. Is there something special with TBK that they sell signed and numbered prints at the gigs?
They do have a lot of S/N copies on this tour, the reason; my guess is the low number of the posters. I think they have for each gig maybe 100, max 200 copies for sale it's not like PJ with 1000 prints on every gig.
That's why they are all signed and numbered, artist is keeping maybe 50 copies for his sale and the rest is sold at the venue....again it's my guess

...and to finish The Black Keys teory about posters....they went so high in price like crazy...yeah they are bigger band but low number of the copies = high price, that's why PJ Edmonton Emek is only worth 100$ and every TBK is form 100$ to 200$ even some really bad ones...crazy IMO.

Yes, yes I do... but need a bigger house first! There's no room in the current house that has enough wall space for all the posters I already have!
