And here is a close up of the corner of the MSG poster so you can see the color of the mats better because the glare is kind of strong on the other picture.

Nice job on the Camden 08. I like.

The MSG 2 though... hrmmmm... That is an awfully wide bottom mat... and I'm curious why you didn't go with the same size mat the whole way around? it looks kind of odd where it's wider on the sides than the top and bottom. That being said, the colour scheme does work...

I have EMEK's Bee handbill at the framer now... I'll post up picks when I get it back... I decided I'm framing the New Orleans poster from the shows I've been to this tour... Selected it over the Hartford and the Boston cause the colours match my room. My AP won't be here until July cause I order the Euro Sub... but I'll share when it's done in a few months.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

The reason the mat is so wide is because of the odd size of the poster. The poster measures 17 X 26 which means I would have had to get a custom frame to have it fit the way you described. Instead i just used a 22 X 28 frame which is the smallest common size frame that would fit it. In the end that saves me tons of money which i was happy about.

I've meant to post this for a while. These are the first posters I got framed. They're from MSG '08 nights 1 & 2. Since it's the same print with a different color scheme, I thought it'd be cool to have them next to each other in the same frame. Here's the result.

Thank you. It was about $390. I had a custom frame made at Michael's. I'm sure if I'd been more knowledgeable at the time, I could have taken quite a bit off that price tag. All in all though, I'm pretty happy with it.

All of the posters pictured on this thread look super cool. I have not yet framed my 2010 Cleveland poster but I have had several posters framed. I have purchased all of my frames from American Frame. I am pretty fortunate that they are based out of Toledo, Oh and are less than 10 minutes away from my house. If you're in the area you can do all the preparing and picking out of options in the shop and also save on shipping. However, most of their business is done through their website, so, they make ordering pretty easy.

The inexpensive "generic" frames are very tempting, however, I worry about preserving the condition of my posters. American Frame offers a very inexpensive option for framing. They offer hundreds of different sizes and colors of frames, several different colors of mat and different types of Acrylic sheets. I always do the "upgrades" for preservation purposes. Along with regular mat they offer acid free mat that won't ruin the poster over time. I always upgrade to the UV Non-Gare acrylic to prevent fading over time also. Another benifit of the acrylic instead of glass is that it is much lighter and you don't have to worry about it shattering or cracking.

I hope some or all of this helps some of you out there trying to frame all of these cool posters. If anyone has any questions I can try and help out the best I can. I should mention that I do not work for or have any affiliation with American Frame so your best bet is to probably call them directly.
