It appeared to me the shooter walked in front of the car while the driver was looking left and backing up. Not sure if that’s accurate, but I’m not sure she saw him.

It is interesting for the right to point the finger at the left for using cars to hit people when they were making jokes about the same thing from the days of Heather Heyer in Charlottesville up to the No Kings protest. I don’t know, doesn’t seem genuine.

Literally ANYTHING.

Police (and federal agency) response reform would be a great start. Eliminating Qualified Immunity would certainly would help keep police in check behaviorally. De-escalation training. Not even doing any of this would be the easiest because life was just fine before they started this. They lit a fire and are bitching about it getting out of control.

And how do we get civilians to behave better in these situations? Well, don't be fucking monsters and antagonize the public. The resentment of the public and the backlash to ICE exists because the admin and the people they have sent out absolutely REVEL in antagonizing people up. They wanted a response like this. They were and are gonna keep pushing and pushing to do more of this.

You know, they could have let her drive away, they had or knew her license plate, make/model, color of her car, description of the perp, called it in and requested that the Minneapolis police pull her over and arrest her for “terrorist” activities or impeding a police investigation. They could have put out an APB or gone to her house and picked her up the next day, charged her and see what happened. But that’s just me.

The US was just fine a year ago.
