    That's the best scenario. Not Harris just being handed it because Biden became a vegetable. 

    If she'd won the nomination, she'd still have the issues of gender, race, and unpopularity the first time around but the "Dems just thrust her upon us" would be gone and people would not be so put off about the party process or the nomination just falling in her lap.

    Biden dropping out would have been well understood. He was old and retiring from public life would have been well received. Then either Harris or someone else would have earned the nomination. I'm pretty cynical about the American people and those that misinform them, but given that it was a close race, this may have tipped the scales. Instead, it played out as bad as it could have for the Dems (which is to say the Dems handled this as badly as they could have).

    Has it been confirmed it was Pretti in that earlier film?  AP news says, 
    "A person with knowledge of the incident confirmed to The Associated Press that the man in the videos is Pretti and that he had told his family of the confrontation. The person spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss matters sensitive to the family."
    Who or what is "A person of knowledge"?
    If it was, did he do anything that deserved having his body riddled with bullets?  
    Is anyone asking these questions?

    Allegedly Pretti yelling “assault me motherfucker” and then spitting on an ICE guy two weeks prior to the shooting. From a BBC report. Can’t completely confirm it’s him though. They say facial recognition says it’s a 97% match but who knows
