    I mean yeah it's probably real but I've seen closet classics that didn't look that good. Wow. Love the Harmonic Designs, hate the Double Cut LP's for whatever reason.

    Ex, yeah the cherry is nice. I think I'd still want some other crazy color though

    i asked about shipping. uh oh. and really, for only $500 more than a 333. and it doesn't need new pickups.

    and it's 5 ply maple and not poplar sides like the 333. Uh Oh.

    i don't think i have enough to sell in order to get it. there's nothing i want to let go of.

    i'll use the excuse that i really want a burst one.

    some day. some day i will have one.

    it's only $1900, for a brand new '03. that seems pretty good to me.

    Now that my new Strat and Amp are fully paid for (thank you Holiday bonus!) I have it in my head that I need something with a fixed bridge and humbuckers. I've been lusting after a SG 61 Reissue for weeks now.

    Right, my only gripe with those epis (same with dots is the uber extended headstock) Holy bumping into everything batman. Why can't they just cut it off square like gibson?

    yeah. the casino is notorious for that.

    anyway, i quelled my urge by buying my son a cij fender 69 mustang. i'm going to make him a time capsule with the guitar, a copy of spin and rolling stone, a cd of my favourite songs from when he was born etc. etc. and give it to him on his 13th birthday. it's right-handed. so no one can accuse me of buying it for myself in his name. :D

    i'll post a couple pics of him with the guitar soon. after that, it goes into storage for 13 years. until then, he won't see it. he won't even know it exists.

    for cij, i'm disappointed in the quality of the pots and cap. if it was my guitar, i'd have changed them already but i'm leaving it untouched for these purposes.
