    More to follow.

Also, if anyone is a Soundgarden fan, there's something cooking in Seattle for the weekend of July 18-20th.

I don't have all the details, but Chris Cornell's  birthday will be a focal point.

    Stay frosty, people!😎
I know others have speculated that Matt is joining the Foos, but at his age I don't see that happening. The "more to follow" makes me feel like we'll be getting some sort of final run of shows from the remaining members of Soundgarden with fill-in singers, and maybe some of the songs they were working on before Chris died.

Watching the YouTube video of the ending of the 5/18 show in Pittsburgh makes me think that this was already decided pre Spring 2025 tour.  Everyone specifically embraces Matt at the end, so it sure looks like they all knew.
    Agreed!

Multimillionaire in his early 60's and doesn't want to work anymore. I don't think he owes us an exit interview.

PJ fans are so bizzare, exactly Merkin Baller. His msg is the right balance of concise and to the point.

This is a psychotic response to a fairly innocuous speculation lol

Whatever the reason, I hope he is healthy.
This. They're at that age now. Most of us here are at that age now. And for whatever it's worth, I'd love to see Jack Irons come back, even if it's just for a tour or two.

Something is going over my head.

The guy is at retirement age, if he wants to leave, that's in his right. That's all im saying.

After getting over the initial shock of this news I honestly can’t describe how lucky and proud I am feeling to have been at what may have been Matt’s last two shows on 5/16 and 5/18 with my wife in Pittsburgh. Getting to see Hunger Strike with all the living members and trying my hardest to sing for Chris on what may be the last show will be a memory I’ll never forget.

What a legacy Matt Cameron leaves behind, they’ll definitely never sound exactly the same again, so much of the last album has his fingerprints and it will be very interesting to see/hear where they go next.

Whatever they do, wherever they go, I’m here for it. Each of the members of this band have absolutely proven themselves to be at the top of their craft and while replacing a close friend who is arguably the best drummer of the past 40 years sounds daunting now, the twists and turns and potential sparks of creativity that may come from this next chapter may eventually prove worth the pain of losing a vital member of our favorite band.

I’m also excited for Matt to see what he does with the next chapter of his already legendary career.

    Thank you Matt Cameron!

Respectfully, this would be the easiest transition and prob get them touring again sooner rather than later.
