Yeah, sounds like a great business move to piss off the fanbase.

I don’t think it’s PJ on Friday. It’s Ed celebrating 10 years of Ohana with a few surprise guests and maybe a semi acoustic set. What a wonderful way to start the festival!

I agree..I think he is just leaving it open that anyone could show up as a guest

I’m excited for this. Ed (by himself or with others) is always great.

I am super excited for Friday. Maybe more than Sunday. I feel like if it was Eddie by himself the whole time, I would be absolutely thrilled. And I feel like anyone he would add to the set would be an added treat.

*Eddie* - are you taking a requests? I would L❤️VE to hear Arc live. It's my most played song on Spotify because I listen to it in a loop. And that doesn't even count all the times I've listened to the live versions on YouTube. I even slow it down and listen to it to fall asleep at night!

! Rock in Rio has published the World Stage headliner for September 13.
only one day is open now: Sunday, September 6

    https://rockinrio.com/rio/line-up/dia/06-set/
    If this RiR-6-Sep-link
shows Pearl Jam in the near future (19 May ?), the new drummer could be already revealed.

This tour rumor place is in the same (waiting) position as the "new drummer on board" thread, together linked with Rio right now for a few days.

If they announce the drummer and Rio’s final line-up isn’t announced at this point, Rio looks like booked.

If that’s correct, the band for the open headline spot on Sunday should be "bigger" than Foo Fighters (in the mind of the Festival‘s boss Medina)

    promising stuff or AI crap😉😆

Yep agree. Of course it wouldn’t be a surprise to see some of the PJ guys appear as Ed’s friends, but some of the names that were rumoured to be in the mix for the festival lineup like Jack White and Brandi Carlile could easily show up too. Who knows and that’s part of the fun.

Sunday is more about PJ playing.

Imagine Bruce or uncle Neil just casually strolling up the stage.

You know, at the time, I think we all thought the 10 spring shows were an appetizer. At least I did when I sold some of my tickets. I have regretted that decision. Good thing I love many bands and many sporting events.

Pitt 1 was the hardest PJ ticket I've ever tried for. Glad we got in, glad we made the trip. Great weekend, historic shows.

Was fortunate to receive GAs for both PIT a couple of weeks before the shows (Thanks Jeff & Mark). While friends had tickets prior I still can’t believe it all worked at the (somewhat) last minute and we were all able to get into both GAs.

It was freaking brutal trying to find tickets for those shows. Especially N1 we didn’t even have tickets as we left Raleigh for a couple nights in West Virginia on the way to the Burgh.
