Oh man, so blessed to have travelled far for this one. Many songs last night hit home hard for me.
Hidden gem for me….After 27 years I finally got to hear a ‘War Pigs’ tag from the master Mike McCready. My brain could barely contain the pressure when it happened. So nostalgic and perfect for ‘Alive’.
Any chance this could be finally recognised as a legit ‘Tag’ to a song? 🙏

band was on fire last night. I came to Pitt for Got to Give. Sunday is just icing on the cake.
Yeah, Of the Earth would have got shot down. Maybe 10% chance. I'm guessing they had rehearsed Grievance on this tour before (but maybe not since they botched the ending).
It hit me last night that this is the end of the Dark Matter tour. Best tour since the Lightning Bolt 2013 run.Post edited by bootlegger10 on0 -

Mike absolutely destroyed the solo in black So damn good. Hot take but I like Jeremy live better than evenfkow Baba was off the charts, severed hand and grievance were standouts for me. Haven’t heard man of the hour since 2006, loved it. . Loved seeing stone, Jeff and Matt stare at each other during the baba finale all concentrating real hard. Awesome show!!!I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

Great show. Severed Hand is so great live. Glad that one has made a comeback. Grievance was a nice surprise even if it wasn’t perfect. Comatose was great. Footsteps and Low Light great start. Always love SOLAT. Other than Daughter the hits still sound great. The it’s ok tag was cool but in general that song doesn’t do it for me live anymore. Dark Matter songs sound great live. Looking forward to Sunday. So much fun to be in the room when these guys are playing together. Treasure it

Those girls can rock!!We thought they did an excellent job but they need better sound equipment, but who doesn’t until you make it really big?Kind of hoping the bands wives and daughters had something to do with these girls headlining (not that the band wouldn’t) because I think the band respects their significant others and offsprings opinions.0

Traveled from Philly for these two shows in the Burgh. Night 1 did not disappoint! I agree with virtually every post in this show thread. Superb set with the “hand” trifecta, Footsteps as an opener, Grievance (nice job lady that picked it!), Got to Give, Man of the Hour, and the Bruce cover. Indifference is an excellent closer after Baba. Loved it. Minor gripe with Do The Evolution being played every show on this tour (I was at the FLA shows too). Love the song live usually, but it doesn’t deserve that status. Again, minor complaint but constantly playing it does take a space from another potential rare gem! Looking forward to N2. Enjoyed my rest day chilling in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of this city I love. Have a late night dinner with friends on tap in a few hours. Love the rest day between shows (unlike in Austin a couple years ago with a back to back) to recharge. Bring on the last show of this tour tomorrow!1998 (2): Washington DC - Tibetan Freedom Fest 6/14 and Camden NJ night 2 on 8/29; 2003 (1): Camden NJ night 1 on 7/5; 2004 (1): Reading PA 10/1; 2005 (1): Philly 10/3; 2006 (1): Camden NJ night 2 on 5/28; 2008 (2): Camden NJ nights 1 and 2 on 6/19 and 6/20; 2009 (3): Philly Spectrum shows nights 1, 3, and 4 on 10/27, 10/30, and 10/31; 2012 (1): Philly MIA Festival 9/2; 2013 (2): Philly nights 1 and 2 on 10/21 and 10/22; 2016 (4): Philly nights 1 and 2 on 4/28 and 4/29; Boston - Fenway Park nights 1 and 2 on 8/5 and 8/7; 2018 (3): London UK 6/18 and Boston - Fenway Park nights 1 and 2 on 9/2 and 9/4; 2022 (1): Camden NJ 9/14; 2023 (2): Austin TX nights 1 and 2 on 9/18 and 9/19; 2024 (4) New York MSG night 2 on 9/4; Philly nights 1 and 2 on 9/7 and 9/9; Baltimore MD 9/12.0
