What a wonderful update to wake up to. I was constantly checking this thread and the go fund me all weekend. Your story really touched my heart. Tearing up this morning looking at the photos. Stories like this keep my faith in humanity.. such generosity and kindness shown. So happy Bella is back where she belongs 🥹❤️

I sat here crying this morning at 6am thinking how do I give all these people money back because we haven't got enough.
Then I cried even more when it suddenly became 100% .
I'm just floored. I cry a lot as it is. But man

So how much medication was Bella sent home with? When does she have to go back to have stitches removed? Is she going to get one of those silly things around her neck?

She is not on any meds anymore. She had intravenous antibiotics last week  and some gabapentin . She will be seen Thursday to have stitches checked and thats it. The wound is clean and well.

My cats always try to scratch my eyeballs out of my head when I have to give them meds. Hahaha

Darwinstheory completed the total on the deadline. The crowdfunding page take £80 in costs which I paid and they don't send the money out for at least a week so I had a kind member here offer the use of her credit card until it came through but at that time in the vets the total bill was 2,320 I believe my mum said put it on her credit card save someone having to share their details. 
So another thing the vets are shady with, I asked for the invoice to show you all and they will post me one out because the actual vet (owner) has to write it up . I'm sure they cooked up a number but anyway I Will post that here when it arrives for full clarity.
I haven't stopped the crowdfunding yet because last time I edited it it shut it down for a day and I can't risk the  money slowing down it's arrival for my mum's card.
If any money comes after I will give it to Darwinstheory as he slammed 500 last min to save the whole thing.

Amazing. You know right before the lead in to faithful Ed spoke about the way music brings people together he went on a little while about it. And your experience that was shared here was a fine example of that. Shows that there is in fact good people in the world, willing to be kind to others and and take action behind that with empathy. to a relative stranger, to be honest. You may have met some of these folks at a show or been present at the same show but not really really know them you know? Being the recipient of unexpected kindness from others can be humbling,  I've experienced that myself here recently for different reasons but nonetheless , for me overwhelming in a way . the emotional, mental sometimes to degree spiritual help give it freely from these folks here it's a little bit mind-blowing. But much needed given the state of the world and how much we are bombarded with negativity can be hard to see the good that does in fact exist anyway I'm very very happy for you and your family and I hope Bella adjust to her new limitations.

I'm fucking raging. As I left the vet yesterday I asked what if she became infected. They she is out of that time period and healed perfectly. She had antibiotics at the time. I said do you promise because I have no more money. 
Guess what the wound bled and back we go. £20 antibiotics I said you are having a laugh surely. 
Paid the 20 and I want to torch the place

It's the principle. Don't tell me it's all past that stage while she has stitches I'm not fucking stupid. It's a wound. I told them this is possible they should have sent her home with antibiotics. Gggrrrrrrr
