    She is sulking with the cone on. She gets  it off in the night. And is spritly with it off. Doing good so far though all considering thanks for asking

    Hopefully in a week or 2 the cone is long gone, she's all healed, and she is back to dancing and prancing.

    Yeah, the cone is a necessary evil, most animals hate the things. Sounds like she is doing well when it's off so that's a great sign. Once she ditches it for good, she'll hopefully be happy and back to her old behavior.

    bellas friend came into our garden to visit her. So sad and happy at the same time. Separated by a cage. Maybe they can sniff eachother

    Is putting Bella on a lead in the garden after she has recovered an option? I know cats don't generally like that and it's more of a dog thing but could be preferable for her to being in the play pen.

    I saw a cat on a lead outside of an RV once at a campsite near a river. The cat seemed very happy sunbathing on the rocks and drinking water from the river.

    Doing great. Still have to wipe the wound with antiseptic wipes twice a day they will see her next week one last time.  Stitches still look  a bit crusty but let's see
