It is up to the bands merch team and the venue to do better.
Exactly. Staff member probably didn't care or didn't know what they were doing. Maybe not trained well by their supervisors.
How many of those staff are third-party contractors or venue staff and do they really care about limits? If someone comes up wanting to buy a whole box of women's medium shirts, does that employee really care?Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

Why pretend like there are limits in place then if you don’t give a shit to make the extra step to enforce those limits.0

Easy to see where human error comes into play. One or more people in the communication chain neglects to inform the next person.. Or maybe the cashier themselves wasn't told or forgot. The software is apparently not set up to catch it either. It sucks but come on friends they're souvenir license plates.0

Every tour it is the same problem. If they cared they would make the simple extra step.0

One item a head solves the problem, no exclusions with different cards etc. Saw a couple with a kid walk away with 6 posters as well, that’s just plain stupid.Don’t understand the 2 items limit either. Apart from buying one for a friend, what the hell does a guy need 2 decks for..0

A while ago I was buying stuff and cashier asked if my 8yr old was getting anything. Thinking back I should have grabbed a couple more stickers!0

A guy at Sydney 2 last year was trying to buy multiple posters. The lady serving him just said “There’s a limit so I’ll need to do more than one transaction”, then processed 3 or 4 separate sales for the same guy while the rest of us waited.“Do not postpone happiness”

It would be good if they over produce every item making them worthless to flip.
Then they can always mystery box us as many times as they like to recoup left overs .
