I did a DNA heritage thing and found I had a fair bit Scandinavian as well as mainly Celtic/ Saxon so I guess the vikings had their way with my farmer ansestors. And here I am in London

100% Chilean but I’ve never done a family history inquiry I will once I’m down there for extended period of time! Not sure if my blood line has any native indigenous roots or all European maybe even German after all the Nazi’s did flee down to South America after their defeat!

my grandparents arrived in 1974 to Queens, NY in 1978 my mom & dad along with my dads siblings all came over… family moved out to Long Island, where we have been ever since

My dad immigrated here in 68 we didn’t follow till 71 straight to Long Island been here since and now looking to move out!

I think my dad's side came here in the early to mid 1800's. Scottish/English.

Μy mother's grandfather came in Greece from Constantinople about early 1900's..
proud of my origin..

My mother's family is mainly from Russia and Eastern Europe, and my father's family is mainly from Eastern Europe (not sure of the all the exact countries). I think my great-grandparent's came to the U.S. in the late 1800s/early 1900s. My mother's parent's were born in Boston, and my father's parents were born in NYC - so I am 3rd generation American born.

Were both parents Jewish? Did their immigration have to do with persecution?

Pipsqueak is half white Russian that made it out of the Czech Republic. She's the last in the line to get First Nation status unless we self-govern who members are. We date back about 16,000 years in this region. I always like to point that out when my kid tells me what year it is.
