    Re: Is Raleigh selling poorly...

As thrilled as I am to have PJ play twice in my hometown, we probably didn't need two dates. That said, I promise if those $175 tickets were in 200s or lower they'd all be gone. I know PLENTY of people looking at those 300s seats who are just waiting to see if and when something better opens up. Both nights will be a full house, trust that. Once Ticketmaster starts lowering those premiums and opening up additional lowers, they'll start moving.

I think the strategy with the Raleigh show was to get a bunch of people from SC and VA (as well as the whole state of NC) a chance -- but on a Tuesday night that's gonna be tough for people. Sunday will be a tougher ticket to get because it allows people some travel wiggle room hence higher demand.
That Sunday is Mother’s Day.   That’s not helping much.
Meh.. take the moms and wives out for brunch.
    and miss the merch line?!!!
Nope! Merch opens in most areas most likely will open at noon like previous legs. Be first in line, get your merch and GTFO and head to the restaurant. Drive separate.
WOW you really thought about the logistics!
Haha! Gotta get the coveted token and poster!
I’m still thinking the merch logistics for Pittsburgh.
Honestly, they should really implement merch hours on the off day in addition to the regular hours on show days. Pitt N1 and N2 are a day apart they should ask the arena if they can have the trailer open in the AM on the Saturday.

Makes sense if their new model is 2 shows per city with a major demand.

Didn’t Wrigley or Fenway get multiple merch days?
They opened Missoula merch the day before the show, and utilized the in-between days for the other cities in May and September this year. And I know they sold merch on the day between Ft. Worth 1 and 2 last year.

The merch trailer was open the day off in between shows in St Paul in 2023.

It’s seems selective though and not an all round policy. I went to the BC and MSG show and it was event day.

MSG merch was not well organized.

No day off for MSG. I thought the 2nd day was pretty smooth compared to first. They will be selling merch on off day.

I'm hoping for a Boston kind of situation because with the driving from Raleigh and other contingencies it's not easy to plan.

They've had merch open on the off day between shows (almost) every time they've had that situation in the last two years. 5 of 7 arenas (St Paul, Chicago, Ft Worth, [not Vancouver or Vegas], Seattle, Philly) plus Wrigley and Fenway. I'd say that's an all around policy to do it if they can. MSG had no off day.

BC didn’t have an off day for merch, it was just the 2 days. It went pretty smooth too

  • Question- when you sell on f2f, do you forfeit all those damn TM fees or can you sell the tickets for the ACTUAL cost (face + fees)??

I'm wondering if they'll do two posters a city this leg, and if so if they'll both be available the whole time. Would really like to only stand in merch line once if possible.

My comment kind of got shuffled around and I commented on the merch situation. It’s seems they are selective on which cities get extra merch days and I was making a comment that they should use the off day more to have merch hours in between show days.

Last leg, some cities got multiple days of merch and some got even day only. Vancouver and MSG being prime examples of just having merch on show days.

Probably a different poster for each show and n2 won't be available until the off day. If n1 doesn't sell out it could be available still on the off day. I usually just buy them in the 10c shop instead of waiting in line.

Last year they were selling N2 posters day between. FT Worth I got N2 poster on the day between... but not many so get there early.

$15 vs 3 hours in line. I'm good with that.

Anecdotally: the merch line on the afternoon of Fenway N1 moved pretty quickly even though it seemed long.

If I recall correctly the merch trailer wasn’t open during the day off in Vancouver due to a hockey playoff game and the venue wanting crowd control and their staff busy elsewhere.

This makes sense, I gather that this is a venue call and Vancouver was occupied with other events and their staff would be stretched too thin. Same thing about MSG, they always have events going on that they can’t accommodate more time to merch..

There was no hockey in between shows. We never got a clear answer why there was no merch trailer on the day between shows.

Meh.. take the moms and wives out for brunch.
    and miss the merch line?!!!

Didn’t Wrigley or Fenway get multiple merch days?
every stop has an off day this leg
My comment kind of got shuffled around and I commented on the merch situation. It’s seems they are selective on which cities get extra merch days and I was making a comment that they should use the off day more to have merch hours in between show days.

Last leg, some cities got multiple days of merch and some got even day only. Vancouver and MSG being prime examples of just having merch on show days.

I guess us canuks take our hockey more serious than a pearl jam concert.
There was no hockey in between shows. We never got a clear answer why there was no merch trailer on the day between shows.
Maybe the arena didn’t want to have merch on the off day as they didn’t have a lot of staff to spare during playoff time.

i recall seeing security throughout the day while we waited for the concert to start.

I guess at the end of the day its venue’s call.

Which answers my original question as to why merch hours was inconsistent during the tour. It’s not up to the band.

Let me rephrase: there was a potential playoff home game possible which didn’t materialize. The merch staff asked the venue if they could open the trailer on the day off but they didn’t want to.

Probably a different poster for each show and n2 won't be available until the off day. If n1 doesn't sell out it could be available still on the off day. I usually just buy them in the 10c shop instead of waiting in line.
The thing is buying them online means paying 15$ shipping for each poster. I really want to avoid that. I'm stingy.
$15 vs 3 hours in line. I'm good with that.
Except if there is an epic poster your risk not getting on the 10c drop, ( Phl2, VO Chi,) ETC.. Philly sold out in 30 seconds or less... If see the poster is must have ill wait the 3 hours and not risk the stress.
