^If you're gonna do that you better go to Mitch's Tavern across from campus on Hillsborough St. That's where the bar scene from the movie was filmed. Cool place.

The ballpark where it was filmed is still there in downtown Durham. It's just a few miles up from the newer ballpark.

Wish they would have pushed these two shows by one day each.  Traveling and seeing a show on Mother's Day is not the gift my wife is hoping for!  :)
Help me understand, if it’s Mother’s Day, wouldn’t your mother be the one you’re concerned about? It’s not wife’s day.

I have a mom, a wife and kids and agree that Mother’s Day is a made up hallmark holiday. Good excuse for brunch I guess.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

All holidays are made up. And yeah, any excuse to celebrate the women who literally sacrifice their body to create life is a good one. Brunch is a nice start.

But the question was about why a man would celebrate his wife on Mothers' Day, which is such a strange question that it makes me wonder whether the person asking it lives on a different planet.

Since I was able to upgrade thanks to @darwinstheory , my original seats through the 10c are now available for N1. They're not the greatest, but get you in at face value. They are sec 125, row WW. Anyone interested?

I'm checking with a friend of mine and may try to snag em if nobody grabs em first. When are you thinking of listing?

I haven't heard back from my friend but even so I'd rather see @cardiff get a shot at them since they missed out on lottery.

@MAMIAST From my end, I logged into my Ticketmaster account via the Ticketmaster app on my phone and made sure all my payment information was current and had my CVC credit card code ready to ensure the payment process would go smoothly.  @runstaples texted me the direct ticket sales link immediately after they were posted for sale. I immediately clicked the text link which opened the direct ticket page in the app and it displayed that the tickets were not available. I kept re-clicking the "Try Again" button, which felt like an eternity, until the tickets finally appeared and then was able to add them to my cart and purchase. Thanks again @runstaples !!!

I'm also looking for a pair for night 2 if anyone happens to upgrade.

^what he said. I'm 2/2 this tour so far by directly texting with people, rather than using PM on here. I just feel like texting someone a link that they get immediately might be just a hair faster than sending it on here and them refreshing their inbox.

I just listed them for sale, it gave me the link, and I copied and pasted it to him via text message. I think it usually says something like "these tickets are not yet available" initially, and you just keep clicking try again until they appear.
