    woah, how'd you manage that?  My 10c seats are kinda ass, and i got artist presale for second night but i'm in section 305....and I paid the same price for those nosebleeds.

    My wife got them. She saw a bunch of singles end of rows up and down one section. She asked if it was okay we sit one row in front of the other instead of beside each other. I said go for it. And that was that.

    Anyone from the area have suggestions for hotels. I booked the Ramada when the show rumours 1st came out because it was fairly close to the arena. Now that I look at it doesn't seem like there is much else around there restaurants etc. 
    Am I better off downtown or am I over thinking it? Comments/suggestions.

    We are staying at the Ramada Inn near Lenovo Center. 20 min bus ride (approx) to the downtown area if you don't have a car. Walking distance to the venue. I think it's the perfect location.

    Booked my hotel today. I opted for price over location because in Raleigh one needs to drive everywhere anyway (and I have Pittsburgh to pay for as well).

    I’m at the Hampton downtown for $150. I’d rather be around a bunch of bars and restaurants and uber to and from the show. 
    This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

    Yeah, that's relatively new. The Seaboard Station area is slowly being completely redone with new shops and restaurants. There's a great record store across the street called Hunky Dorey. I picked up the RSD edition of Dark Matter there!

    There are also really good restaurants and bars two blocks away, on N. Person Street, between E Franklin  and Peace St.

    There's a Hunky Dory in Seaboard? I only know the Cary one and the one in midtown or whatever they're calling that area now...

    Anyways adding on....the R-Line bus is great and picks up right in front of Seaboard. It's just a circulator bus that takes folks downtown to the restaurants and bars. It won't get you to the show but may be good for the in between day and/or kicking around before the show.

    Glenwood South is nearby and has tons of restaurants (Mojo's and Cardinal are local favorites), shops, and bars. A few record stores nearby too -- Record Krate, Sorry State.

    The other direction, like blouse said, is Person street. Oakwood Pizza Box is outstanding. Person Street Bar is great for drinks after the show. Krispy Kreme if you see the Hot Now sign on. There is a very cool little local book store called So and So -- lots of local authors and artists work in there.
