I was in Pittsburgh this past weekend. I brought my son to his first Steelers game and we had a blast! Heinz History Museum was a lot of fun. 6 floors of exhibits with 2 of the floors being dedicated to Pittsburgh sports. And I second Primanti Bros. We went there twice on our 3 day trip.
It’s great to hear this.  I hate when your hometown people act like idiots.  Glad you had a blast.

Make sure you see PNC park from the river view.

How is Beechview neighborhood to stay in?
In what regard? it's fine but not exactly where I'd recommend out of towners stay because it's not close to much
Just asking if it’s a safe area to stay in.  Flying in Thursday and flying home Tuesday to catch Pirates game.  I’ll keep looking.  Thanks.
Perfectly fine to stay in. It's just in a weird spot. Most of the city is connected and you can walk between neighborhoods, but Beechview is across the river, through a tunnel on the other side of a mountain lol. It's the last neighborhood officially part of the city of Pittsburgh before you hit the suburbs.
A little touchy about the triangle bar.  Lawrenceville is far from completely modernized yet so the progress continues.

I also don’t think it’s a great idea to send people who don’t know the area to Swissvale, unless of course they carry.

I directed you all to some of the wealthiest and safest parts of the city for bars and nightlife.  Pittsburgh is no different than any other city in this country.  There’s good places, and not so good.  Just be safe and hope you all enjoy!

I got two for N1 pretty jazzed up to visit Pittsburgh as I have wanted to go there for a while and am a Steelers fan suffering football in Chicago.

Any hotel suggestions don't need to be near arena but would like more for entertainment district if not one in the same.

    Thanks
Stay at a hotel on the north shore . Plenty of entertainment and far more interesting .

Gotta love when your PJ show companion (my Mom, don't judge) texts you a day after telling you she only got tix to the Friday show, that she did in fact also get a pair to the Sunday show! See ya'll both nights!

So Pitt 1 was my only hit in the lottery. I think I'm actually going to just do the one show. Thinking we'll drive in, see the show...then find a hotel. Probably drive up to the falls on Saturday for the day. Then drive back home Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. Make a quick little fun 2 day-ish trip.

Just need to figure out how to help my wife enjoy GA with her being 4'11". At Wrigley, we stood against the fence behind the ADA in the GA and it was an awesome view and she could see perfectly.

They sell platform tennis shoes for women, it gives a couple more inches to her height. Also there is the option to do rail 😃

I'm 5'6 and usually hate GA experiences for that reason, but Toronto against the back rail was amazing. The pit's small enough that even from there you still feel super close, and there was more than enough space between me and the rest of the pit crowd that I generally had a clear view of the whole stage. Didn't hurt that EV did a lap around the arena towards the end of the show and came running right by me. No idea if that's still a thing. I was hoping to land GA again this tour just to do that same exact thing, but no dice ha.

Might as well get some awesome side stage seats at that point. You will have a better view and if you like to dip out to get a break you can do that easier.

You Are. I’m dying to hear it live and yeah, back of the pit is where it’s at. Still really close with plenty of room to move around.

I really really really want them to play insignificance. It's so relevant these days.

And immortality to make me ugly cry in the pit.

Philly 2 I had side stage seats close to the stage and it was my favorite spot ever for a show.

Went to Pittsburgh maybe 15 years ago as my wife ran a marathon.

Did a tour of Heinz field
Did a tour of Three Rivers Stadium
