LOL...I'm glad you get a kick out of old Joe.

Keep in mind that Joe is the bigger man here. He didn't stomp off and act like an orange manbaby and not invite trump and his illegal alien to the WH. And he'll attend the inauguration....imagine that...and so will Harris...both mature enough to not soil their diapers and act like sore losers.
Let's not forget what Obama/Biden did to Trump in 2016.  Watch the documentary "The Plot Against the President". Enjoy. Happy days are here again.
Still hoping for an indictment of Obama and Hillary?

    oh and speaking of “gimps”:

Trump and his team quite obviously put Elon and Vivek on a side quest for 2 years. Would you people have been happier if they had been given actual cabinet positions? He realistically owes a lot to these guys and, if you're a Democrat, this is a far better outcome for them than many alternatives.

Agreed there...they get seats at the kids table

Elongitaint and Vivekistan have not a clue. One is boring and the other is driving a Rolls disguised as a sweat lodge while claiming yoga will cure all your ills, particularly in the heat and if you surrender all your wealth for the belief.

Cons are gonna con and my marker says that they don’t save the taxpayers a dime.

Billionaire Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy were tapped to lead the Department of Government Efficiency.

Trump said that the pair will work together to "dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies."

"It will become, potentially, ‘The Manhattan Project’ of our time," the announcement on Tuesday evening said. "Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectives of ‘DOGE’ for a very long time."

HELL YEAH! All Americans should be able to get together and support this new department. We ALL want our tax dollars spent wisely, and not wasted!

Trump nominates Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead new efficiency department to ‘restructure federal agencies’ – live

Simping for the status quo and more govt bureaucracy isn’t the flex you think it is.
Do you think billionaires should just be given a new federal agency simply because they donated millions? Are you OK with the US moving towards plutocracy?

Seems the GOP might actually be the one letting the elite run things, but carry on with your victory laps. The next Democrat will need to fix the economy again. It's historically proven that's what the GOP does.
To common sense Americans, it is very obvious that taxpayer money is wasted, either by corruption or inefficiency. Elon Musk can't be bought, can't be intimidated by the Deep State. He has a proven track record.  Vivek is smart, successful and recognizes that government bureaucracy has been a noose around Americans neck for far too long.
What is the taxpayer’s money wasted on? Give us the top 10. Then tell us how they’ll figure it out and decide on what and where to cut. Then tell us when it’ll be implemented. For every action there will be a reaction.

so, how long does this delay your being replaced and was 9/11 an inside job?
    Here is a start:
The CBO revealed at least 1,264 federal programs and bureaus have expired authorizations, but they still received $516B in funding for FY2024
The Government Accountability Office estimates the federal government wastes $247B in taxpayer money each year
The Department of the Treasury reported $24.5B in "unreconciled transactions" in the past meaning it spent ~$25B on unknown items

There is a lot of waste. But a couple of unserious people firing a million people on day 1 isn't the fix you think it is. They don't know what is or is not happening in these agencies. They're analyzing nothing.  They're just carrying out a whim because it sounds good. Just firing a bunch of people from, say, the Department of Transportation, is going to have ramifications that these people don't understand. But at least a lot of other people can revel in the misery of others as their tax funds get diverted to the guy making it happen.

The disproportionate amount of attention being paid to a glorified blue ribbon panel just because the guy is famous should be a wake up call to the shallow nature of a lot of political discourse

    Source: Philadelphia Inquirer:

District Attorney Larry Krasner’s election-related lawsuit against Elon Musk — in which Philadelphia’s top prosecutor accused the tech billionaire of running an illegal lottery by giving money to Pennsylvania voters — failed to establish proof that the contest met even the most basic definition of a lottery, the judge overseeing the case said.

Common Pleas Court Judge Angelo Foglietta, who last week rejected Krasner’s request for an injunction against Musk and his America PAC, wrote in an opinion filed late Tuesday that Krasner and his attorneys offered little evidence and made “unpersuasive” arguments in their attempt to have Musk’s daily $1 million giveaway barred from operating in the state.

Although Krasner accused Musk of misleading contest entrants by suggesting that anyone had a chance to win, Foglietta said, PAC officials provided documents and “credible testimony” to show that winners were actually chosen through a multi-step vetting process — and then expected to serve as spokespersons for the PAC, making them de facto employees.

Moreover, he said, the DA presented no witnesses to support the notion that entrants felt duped, Foglietta said, and he ignored or downplayed portions of Musk’s comments explaining that winners would need to speak on behalf of the PAC, which was established to promote the candidacy of Republican nominee Donald Trump.

He's probably the most power person in the world right now. And Vivek has said that the first thing the administration should do is fire a third of federal employees. This is happening. And Elon's going to become the world's first trillionaire. The conflict of interest is happening in plain sight.

There are 2.8 million civilian federal employees. I'd be stunned if that number is over 2 million by the equinox. (Not to mention public and private people that will lose their jobs as a result).

    It's happening.

Woopie!  Way to go MAGAs!  Turn the country over to billionaires who are (NOT) going to make your lives better.

Is there a dispute on whether there is bloat and waste at the federal level? No, that is mostly accurate at any level of business, whether private, state or fed, but what you don't do is put a person with a conflict of interest in charge of addressing it. You are obviously lost in the weeds if you think Elon wouldn't do everything in his power to make sure his legacy is cemented as the first trillionaire. No one person can buy him, sure, that's why he's moved on to the US federal government and foreign governments. Through de-regulation, reduced taxes and contracts, he will rake in billions. Only a moron would think anything he does won't line his coffers first and foremost, but maybe you'll a few thousand float down to you so you don't care.

Your last sentence screams that you do indeed think a plutocracy should be the path the US takes.

The disproportionate amount of attention being paid to a glorified blue ribbon panel just because the guy is famous should be a wake up call to the shallow nature of a lot of political discourse

Yeah, I don't get the disregard some people have. The senate majority leader vote today will tell us a lot about what to expect the next 4 years. If Rick Scott gets it, anything goes. This isn't going to be like his first term, he is filling positions with sycophants and trying to get rid of anyone who doesn't pledge loyalty to everything he wants. In his first term, sensible republicans put the country over party, but he doesn't want those people, he wants party over country. I guess we'll get to see how far some of them are willing to go. Hopefully they will do their duty for the country if push comes to shove.

It should be interesting. To be determined is if the GOP agrees with trump about some of these nominees. I can't imagine that they are all in line with Noem and the Fox News guy
