Absolutely not!  It's a very rewarding hobby.  I've purchased a lot of music production gear over the years, and there is no gear that I love more than my acoustic guitar.  Tho analog synths are so sexy and tempt me always.  I highly recommend checking out the Yamaha acoustic guitars in the $300 range.  They are top quality, and rival those that are over $1K.  I LOVE Yamaha acoustic.  YouTube taught me a lot for guitar.  All you need is 30 min a day to notice solid progress.  To keep your lessons interesting, I recommend 10 min of technical learning (chords, scales), then 10 min to pick one of you favorite songs to learn (keep it simple), then 10 min to jam out and just have a bunch of fun with it or do whatever.  If you only do the technical stuff, it's easy to burn out.  So mix in your favorite songs and stuff to keep it fun.  Cheers! :rock_on:

At 6'5" and 215 lbs....I am going to have a hard time justifying buying a "small men's" mystery box  to my wife....hmmm- options for excuses:
    1. User error
    2. wishful thinking
    3. "I bought it for you"- for the record, that would not fly...she is easily a medium and would see through this.  We saw TOTD in LA, and they only had small shirts for women...I bought it and for sh!ts and giggles she will put it on...more giggles than shits.  It fits very poorly (or well depending on your aesthetic
    4. I will be dropping the shirts off at a local elementary school--she works there and it would be the first time I visit her at work--again, little chance she will buy this

I'm going to have to think about this....

User error is almost impossible to be suspicious of.

"Shit. Did I really buy a small? Am I that dumb?"

She will believe you are that dumb.
