Only buy in advance if it's great seats for face. Which is next to impossible nowadays.

    this is the way.

i went to metallica 2x at foxborough this summer at the last minute (2nd night i got tickets as i was driving at 6pm ha!)
I paid less than face of ONE ticket for two. no need to ever stress out over 'sold out' or not getting tickets months before.
With the instant ticket transfer and huge GA sections, nobody needs to be stressed (unless you are a Taylor Swift fan, I guess).

For sporting events, I have found that the night before is the sweet spot. Things seem to dry up the day of the event.
  • My fandom with Oasis is exactly what most people's fandom with pearl jam are, at least for the casual music fans...i'm barely aware that they have albums past the 90s...but man those first few records are killer. "Live forever", "What's the story morning glory", "Hello"...all absolutely killer. Super curious how the shows will sell!

Had the exact same experience with Metallica. Bought the day before and sat 2 rows off the field.

Same with me and Jimmy Buffet a few years ago. Bought 2 days before concert for $35 per ticket when behind me were going for $140 per ticket 2 months earlier.
  • Man there was a Billy Joel on sale today for a few shows and the prices are outrageous.  Definitely waiting it out on those.

I think we all underestimated the demand

Kind of shocked they won’t add a Florida or Dallas show as well

They could have done 5 shows at MetLife off the bat. This a huge thing regardless of people don’t get it

I logged out of the queue. it was ridiculous. F2F will be the way to go closer to show time. By next August there will be a ton of people who can't make it for one reason or another.

I think what they lost out in dynamic pricing they gained in initial higher prices. GA was around $250 with fees at MetLife. Were initial prices that high in Europe before dynamic kicked in?

For Chicago, that's at least 60,000 more individuals than the stadium can hold. Gonna bet at least half that get thought plan to resell

I think 151 pounds for GA with fees. That's what 180-190 dollars?

But I guess you also have to multiply that price with the "US concert tickets higher price than Europe average"-coefficient

Here were the prices for the general sale:

    • Pitch standing - £135 (£151 including fees)
    • Seats - Ranges from £65 (£73 including fees) to £185 (£206 including fees)

$198. Is that with fees included?

How come when it's Pearl Jam it's "bots" but with Oasis it's "people"?
